“I have 2 separate positive reviews about this place:1) As a drop in play gym, it's phenomenal. If you're local, it's just such a nice low sensory place (not too loud / packed) for kids to come, swing, play with toys, etc, and the staff are always great. It never feels overwhelming, but there are so many things to do!2) We had a birthday party for our kid here recently and it was AMAZING. Like, I truly cannot emphasize just how on top of it Kim (the owner) and her assistant were. In terms of transitioning to different times of the party, setting up food, handling setup and break down, etc. We are already talking about just doing the next birthday here again because it was so easy and frictionless!”

Well let’s start with the most amazing human being Garry he was the most kindest and energetic person from the moment we walked through the door and than to the big day he made us feel like family and made feel at home. Cheers to you Garry, you and your amazing staff as well was the most supportive and attentive ever. They made sure that our bridal party, parents, grandparents, and of course us had anything and everything we needed. We couldn’t be any more happy that we got share such spectacular day. Every single person we worked with was perfectly accommodating, professional, and genuinely kind, making us feel completely supported throughout the entire day. Our wedding attendant, Monica, deserves the highest praise and biggest shout out— she was attentive, thoughtful, and always one step ahead of my needs (especially with the many outfit changes). Without her, I don't know what I would've done. My husband and I were able to relax and fully enjoy every moment without worrying about a single detail.

And the cocktail hour food...omg truly the best ever. It was abundant, beautifully presented, and unbelievably delicious. We still hear our guests raving about it and telling us it was the best cocktail hour they’ve ever experienced at a wedding.

The grounds were stunning, the flow of the evening was flawless, and every detail was executed with such precision and heart. It genuinely felt like the entire team at Florentine Gardens was invested in making our wedding perfect — and they absolutely succeeded.

“We just had my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah at Rain and honestly couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. Scott and Miriam were incredible from start to finish. They were extremely helpful and responsive during the planning process and were there the entire night making sure everything ran smoothly. You can really tell how much they care.

The space itself is perfect for a Bar/Bat Mitzvah or any event really. The atmosphere is fun and modern, and the layout worked really well for both the kids and adults. The entertainment was absolutely amazing and everyone had such a great time. The extras like the photo booth, popcorn and cotton candy machines, air hockey, foosball, etc. really added to the party and gave it an extra kick.

We were also able to open up the outdoor space for dinner since the weather was beautiful, and that ended up being such a huge plus. Overall, Rain made the whole night special and easy, and we got so many compliments from our guests afterward. Will be doing more events there in the future. Highly recommend.”

“We had my wife's surprise 70th birthday party at the Park West Loft last weekend and it was a fantastic night thanks to Chris and his staff. The food and service was great and Chris was meticulous about planning the event, yet extremely easy to work with. He made sure everything went smoothly, including surprising my wife, which went off with out a hitch. The venue itself is wonderful, with a NYC vibe, and is well designed for a party.

The Ridgewood Woman's Club is an exceptional woman’s club with a fabulous President, Pamela Swords , who gives this club her heart and soul!She is truly a gift for this club and its members! Lastly, but most importantly, The Ridgewood Woman’s Club does so many wonderful and charitable things but also leaving time for the members to do some fun activities together also!”

“I had my formal engagement party at The Royal Manor and it was better than I dreamed! Many of our guests called the next day to rave about the food, the ambience, and the overall vibe of the venue. Staff were so kind and attentive, especially the maître d' Mario, who consistently checked in with me to make sure everything was going as expected. The kitchen is also so accommodating - we had several people with food allergies, specifically a very severe gluten allergy, and everyone went above and beyond to make sure the meals were safe.

It was also such a pleasure working with Carmel and Magda to bring this party to life. We met with Carmel first and you could tell she really loves her job. She made us feel so welcome and truly cared about giving us the party we wanted, but not in a pushy way. In fact, The Royal Manor was the first venue we toured and we returned to drop our deposit off just a few hours later. Magda was also so warm and helpful, and you could tell she cared about our wants and needs.

I am definitely keeping The Royal Manor in mind for future events!”

“Skyland's Manor was the perfect venue for our wedding! From start to finish, their team was exceptional, making our day unforgettable. Despite our short 6-month planning timeline and detailed setup list, the Frungillo team handled everything flawlessly and was incredibly accommodating. They customized the menu to provide me (the bride) with a dedicated gluten-free breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cake, ensuring I could enjoy every moment without worry.

Our coordinator, Linda, was an absolute gem—sweet, organized, and professional from our first meeting. Her expertise shone throughout our time working with her, and she made us feel at ease knowing everything was under control. Even when rain threatened our outdoor ceremony, she seamlessly arranged a tent, allowing us to proceed without a hitch. The venue’s responsiveness to our questions and flexibility with changes made the planning process and day of the wedding stress-free.

“When you think of New Jersey hockey, you should immediately think of the Ice Vault. Lemme tell you why…

Lobby? Clean enough. Bleachers? Clean enough. Bathrooms? You’re at an ice rink. Parking? As long as grandmama doesn’t take up two spots you’ll be fine. Number of surfaces? A lot. Ice quality? Yes there is ice. Likelihood you’ll get yelled at by someone’s mom? Very high.

What takes the cake is the restaurant.

You will be tempted to utter the forbidden phrase “snack bar” when you walk through the doors and up the ramp to the upper lobby between rinks 1 and 2. The hockey gods and the rink owner will immediately correct you and tell you it is a restaurant. You will not mind because you are happy there is heat somewhere in the building.

There you’ll find your typical ice rink favorites… baconeggncheese, porkrolleggncheese, hot dog, hot chocolate, burger, soda, sports drink, whatever.

And then you’ll see the rest of the menu. Which spans the length of the counter which already rivals the lane count of I-80 coming into town.

Multiple varieties of Asian food? Yup. Full course breakfast including fresh pancakes? All day. Fruits and vegetables? Mhm. All the flavors of Red Bull? Indeed.

And then there’s the whiteboard in the middle. That’s where the specials are. Some weekends it’s a specialty panini or soup du jour or something just generally neat and well executed. And then there’s tournament weekends. There was a point in time where you could get a surf and turf dinner featuring sea bass, filet mignon, and two sides for $20. Twenty. Dollars. At an ice rink. Why? Because it’s not a snack bar.

They may also have the best Italian food ever, let alone in North Jersey or at an ice rink, but I’ll let you decide.”
