“I have 2 separate positive reviews about this place:1) As a drop in play gym, it's phenomenal. If you're local, it's just such a nice low sensory place (not too loud / packed) for kids to come, swing, play with toys, etc, and the staff are always great. It never feels overwhelming, but there are so many things to do!2) We had a birthday party for our kid here recently and it was AMAZING. Like, I truly cannot emphasize just how on top of it Kim (the owner) and her assistant were. In terms of transitioning to different times of the party, setting up food, handling setup and break down, etc. We are already talking about just doing the next birthday here again because it was so easy and frictionless!”

“Excellent venue for kid parties! Very clean and fun for kids. The staff was great and the owner made planning an event for 29 kids so easy! Literally everything is taken care of for you, including pizza, cake, & favors. Pricing was also very fair. Highly Recommend!!!”

Well let’s start with the most amazing human being Garry he was the most kindest and energetic person from the moment we walked through the door and than to the big day he made us feel like family and made feel at home. Cheers to you Garry, you and your amazing staff as well was the most supportive and attentive ever. They made sure that our bridal party, parents, grandparents, and of course us had anything and everything we needed. We couldn’t be any more happy that we got share such spectacular day. “Macaluso’s was the absolute perfect place to celebrate my 60th birthday. From start to finish, the service was unbelievable. Carlos and Alex were incredibly attentive to every detail I asked for and made sure everything ran seamlessly. The food was amazing and plentiful. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. Every single person we worked with was perfectly accommodating, professional, and genuinely kind, making us feel completely supported throughout the entire day. Our wedding attendant, Monica, deserves the highest praise and biggest shout out— she was attentive, thoughtful, and always one step ahead of my needs (especially with the many outfit changes). Without her, I don't know what I would've done. My husband and I were able to relax and fully enjoy every moment without worrying about a single detail.

Our wedding coordinator, Samantha, was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process. She was organized, responsive, and incredibly helpful, guiding us with care and expertise every step of the way. Having her support made the entire experience feel seamless and stress-free.

And the cocktail hour food...omg truly the best ever. It was abundant, beautifully presented, and unbelievably delicious. We still hear our guests raving about it and telling us it was the best cocktail hour they’ve ever experienced at a wedding.

The grounds were stunning, the flow of the evening was flawless, and every detail was executed with such precision and heart. It genuinely felt like the entire team at Florentine Gardens was invested in making our wedding perfect — and they absolutely succeeded.

“We had my wife's surprise 70th birthday party at the Park West Loft last weekend and it was a fantastic night thanks to Chris and his staff. The food and service was great and Chris was meticulous about planning the event, yet extremely easy to work with. He made sure everything went smoothly, including surprising my wife, which went off with out a hitch. The venue itself is wonderful, with a NYC vibe, and is well designed for a party.
I would recommend Chris, his staff and the Park West Loft without reservation.”

“I HIGHLY recommend RAIN. My daughter’s bat mitzvah was epic. Scott and Miriam covered every detail making it so easy and simple to throw a smooth and fun event. The DJ, emcee and dancers were incredible and had the whole crowd - from ages 2 to 52 dancing for the Bat Mitzvah girl- they just get it! And the space is so easy to customize to your own look. Despite our short 6-month planning timeline and detailed setup list, the Frungillo team handled everything flawlessly and was incredibly accommodating. They customized the menu to provide me (the bride) with a dedicated gluten-free breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cake, ensuring I could enjoy every moment without worry.

Our coordinator, Linda, was an absolute gem—sweet, organized, and professional from our first meeting. Upon looking for a million venues , this one caught my eye through the internet and once we finally made our way to tour … no questions asked, we booked and gave a deposit on the spot . John made us feel so welcome and was so kind and informative and helpful , he was insanely flexible courteous and helpful through everything and through all the chaos . He was amazing leading up to the wedding and did a phenomenal job AT the wedding. He helped ease my mind as well as my husbands and delivered an extraordinary wedding. Guests were raving about how beautiful the room is and how delicious our food was .

“This is the best VFW in the state if you’re looking for a space to rent !! Had my wedding reception here and from step 1 Jesse was nothing but helpful and excited as if I were his own daughter. He made sure the space was able to transform into my dream venue and gave us free rein over what we wanted the place to look like. The building is all freshly renovated and is honestly one of the prettiest VFWs I’ve ever seen. When the day of the wedding came everything went wrong on my end and the day was chaotic. I called to let Jesse know and he immediately had the Worlds best bartender Mike call me and assure that the night would run smoothly. Once we got there the party was on, Mike went above & beyond and my family was raving about him afterwords. VFW Lodi made my wedding day one of the best days of my life. “Long before this theater made national and international news I last visited this cinema almost 30 years ago when I saw Apollo 13 with relatives and enjoyed it. It was kind of run down while the tenplex and triplex down the street were still popular but I enjoyed the film.”

“Great facility! Service dog knowledgeable. Which is a huge plus in my book. Kind staff and employees. The pro shop was excellent and the cafe is fantastic. Lots of specials excellent prices incredible portion sizes. The bathroom was very clean. My only complaint is during an event so that you can more result identify guests with service animals having properly checked into your building give them some sort of sticker to be more easily identifed. Keep up the good work guys!”

“The burners in some of the kitchens don't work/don't heat evenly and the cooking utensils aren't consistent room to room. I stay here often and find myself having to have my key reset cause they 2/3 times stop working midstay. Other than that, it's a decent place to stay. Close to shopping and restaurants.”

• From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is exceptionally clean, fresh, modern, and inviting. The renovation was clearly done thoughtfully, with updated finishes, comfortable furnishings, and a layout that feels both stylish and functional.

• My room was immaculate. The bed, furniture, bathroom, and fixtures all felt unused and pristine, which made the stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing. It honestly felt like staying in a newly opened hotel rather than an older property.

• The overall vibe of the hotel is calm and upscale without being stuffy. The common areas are spotless, well-lit, and designed in a way that makes you actually want to spend time there.

• Every staff member I interacted with was polite, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Customer service here feels natural and sincere, not forced — a big plus.

• One standout feature is the excellent in-house restaurant. The food quality, convenience, and ambiance make it a real asset to the hotel, especially if you don’t feel like leaving the property after a long day.

• I originally booked this hotel for just one night and planned to stay with family the following day. However, after experiencing the hotel, I decided to extend my stay for an additional four nights — that alone says everything.

• This hotel feels underrated simply because many people may not realize how recently and thoroughly it was renovated. Because of that, everything still feels new, fresh, and lightly used.

• I highly recommend this Courtyard to anyone visiting the area, whether for business or leisure. It delivers comfort, cleanliness, and value far above expectations.”
