“I have been to this store on multiple occasions over the years and am generally OK with the services received. Today was the exception. Some amateur comedian was at the desk and clowned around with me while I was there to pick up an online order placed last night. At after 1000 a.m., the order was not ready; the web site indicated the order was going to be available two hours after opening (0700 a.m.). I indicated I had not received an email indicating the order was complete when asked -- and then he looked it up and discovered they had an order that was not yet processed. Three people were at the front desk and no one was doing anything substantial other than talking when I arrived, so no one was paying attention to business. So, while another individual made up my order, the comedian tried again to joke with me about the paint color chosen. I corrected him and he said he was just joking around. I didn't react at all, but didn't indicate I was amused either. I remained polite and was very quiet as I received my receipt and paint cans and left. Be prepared for a wait, if they are busy, not to have your order ready if placed online. My wait wasn't very long, but if that had been the excuse they provided me had I asked why I had to wait or why my order wasn't done earlier, I might have had a funny retort for them. But I wasn't amused by the scenario. Very unprofessional and not what I expect at a retail store.”

So, I did.Kate made this entire process very easy and fun. She taught me so much and I feel great that I had the opportunity to work with her.Kate has this incredible professionalism mixed with friendliness that makes you feel instantly at ease. She is incredibly knowledgeable and exceeded my expectations.She took the time to really listen to my vision and understand my color pallet. She helped me work through colors and understand how each would look in different lights and sheens. She pointed out undertones that any average joe, like myself, would have never noticed. Almost importantly, she helped me to make sure my colors flowed throughout the house.She helped match coordinating colors for accent walls, trim, and doors and knew everything line of paint she carried like the back of her hand. She took the time to explain the benefits of each type and made sure that the paint fit our lifestyle — with a toddler and dog.Kate is not only an incredibly knowledgeable manager but she is also genuinely kind and friendly. She truly cares about you and your project and makes you feel so comfortable.I can’t thank her enough for everything she did to make this process an easy and fun one.I highly recommend Kate and the Paramus Sherwin Williams store beyond words. My program works at Ace Hardware on Tuesday's to clean the grills, sweep the floors, fix the shelves, and restock the shelves. My grandparents, Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Mike sometimes go to Ace Hardware to pick up things for their houses. I also ran into Mr. deMarrais while I was at Ace Hardware. Ace is the Place for the helpful hardware folks.”

A store runner by name of Jim I believe matched a formula for stain on some wood I had to refinish. He even tested the stain he made up on small piece of the same wood we replaced to match the old and it was beyond perfect. I'm extremely impressed. They did it all free as well. They go the extra mile and know their paints”

“As a lifelong resident of Jersey City, I only first visited Tsigonia a few days ago in search of purchasing Benjamin Moore paint. I called the day before I visited to make sure they were going to be open and what their hours were and spoke to the nicest man on the phone. I had the pleasure of meeting Stanley upon my first trip to the store and it was such an amazing experience. He's so pleasant, helpful, genuine, and knowledgeable. It really took me back in time to experience such true customer service. He made such an impression on me. Stanley walked me through everything I needed, even mentioning things I didn't consider, giving me options to choose from, saying 'we want to make sure we have this right'. In this day and age, where are you going to find someone who actually cares about the color and finish of how you're deciding to paint your home? To me, that caliber of character speaks volumes in the day and age where you're likely to be flagging down someone for help in a store because they aren't around or are glued to a device. Anyway, I ordered the first batch of what I needed from him, and some samples to try. I made my mind up over the week, and called in the rest of my order because I would be arriving for pick up close to their closing time and wanted to be respectful of operational hours. Stanley was so precise, patient, and thorough with my order, 6 different colors and a variety of finishes within them - all to a T. My order was ready and accurate, all waiting to be paid for by the time I arrived. This man is truly such a role model for customer service, for this business, and the human race. Stanley, you are an angel.”
