The office is always very clean! Mark is very efficient always there when you need him and always willing to help you to your car with the dog food! In my opinion, they deserve a 10 star not 5. “I can’t say enough good things about everyone here. My dog has a long list of medical issues, so we’re in touch with the office more often than I’d like. Whenever I call with a concern, the receptionists are always kind, calm, and reassuring. They never make me feel like a burden and always do their best to fit us in when they can.
The doctors are just as wonderful. They take the time to answer every question I have without ever making me feel rushed. I’ve even received follow-up phone calls after hours to go over test results and talk through the next steps. After spending all day seeing patients, the fact that they still take the time to thoroughly explain my dog’s specific situation means so much to me.
Whenever my girl has a specialist or ER visit, the staff often mentions that they’ve already reviewed her records and test results before our appointment. That level of preparation and attention to detail gives me so much confidence that she’s receiving the best care possible.
When we lost our other dog, they sent us a heartfelt sympathy card and called to offer their condolences. That kindness meant more than they probably realize during such a difficult time.

“Dr. Shendell and her team always go above and beyond for our fur babies. We have been through atleast four vets before we came across Dr. Shendell & Dr. Weltner. Both are great, kind and caring veterinarians! My wife and I are both nurses and let me tell you, these guys are the best that we've been to in Jersey so far (location wise). Dr. Shendell and Dr. Mooney did surgery twice on my 21 year old alien baby (Biff). They gave us an extension with him for which I am forever grateful. DO NOT second guess yourself or the people here! They are awesome and my wife and I will NEVER stop coming here.....unless we move...or get abducted by my new boy's alien family...Shhh...don't tell the Feds!”

“Dr. Sarles is fabulous! He will always ask about my other dogs when I visit with just one as well as ask about my daughter. I'm thankful we have a vet that truly cares about our entire family (and yes my dogs are like my children). It should also be noted that he worked to push my shih tzus shot together which took time so I wouldn't have to run in for an extra shot/appointment for her to get groomed. It wasn't about wanting to make extra money for a vet visit but rather less stress on my dog and considerate of my very busy schedule. I really couldn't be happier! thank you for being you!!!!”
“I like the way they’re run. Office staff, vet techs and Dr Levitian leave us feeling comfortable and seen. Whenever we need paperwork for proof of vaccination, etc., it’s so easy to contact the office. My family knows this practice as “no nonsense”- so far recommending only those procedures that are necessary and reasonable for our unique circumstances. As a first time dog mom, there was no question in my mind of who my vet was going to be.”
“I have two cats. I just adopted one of them three months ago. My one cat that I had just adopted was having some issues that I needed to get to a vet ASAP.
My own vet that I have been going to for probably 15 years said that they couldn’t take for four or five days, they told me to go to the emergency place.
Emilia, who is also is a beautiful person spoke to Dr. Johnson and they got me in immediately within an hour of my phone call.
Ironically, a couple of weeks after I went to Dr. Johnson, my other cat was sick and again they took me in immediately.

“Early morning last Friday I ended up at AnimERge after I found my cat Anthony crying and collapsed on the floor. I knew it wasn't going to be good news but I was immediately comforted by the front desk staff on call that he would be taken care of and made comfortable during the exam. Dr. Barbara Guy, the vet on call that morning, examined him and spoke with me afterward. She didnt have good news for me, but she explained all of our options clearly and in a very caring and calm way. She and the front desk staff handled Anthony with such love and care during our whole visit and his passing was peaceful and respectful. I have had many pets and it is never easy to make the decision to help them pass when they are suffering, but after Dr. Guy's diagnosis, I knew it was the right thing to do.
After returning home from work Monday morning, I was so pleasantly surprised to receive a very heartfelt card from Dr. Guy in the mail. It was completely unexpected and very kind and it really made my day.
If you are ever in need of emergency care for your pet, I highly recommend AnimERge. Hopefully I don't need their services again soon, but I am comforted in knowing they are there if I do need them for my other pets!”

Her issue took us by surprise- Dr.Brody handled the situation with such care and attention I am so lucky to have him as her provider. “The staff are very sweet and my dog and I were very comfortable with the vet. I’m a first time dog owner with a two year old cockapoo. Our previous vet shamed me for not wanting to spay her and give certain vaccinations. The vet here assured me that spaying her is not necessary and we set up a schedule to do minimal vaccinations that I felt comfortable with. He also gave us a recipe to start her on a real food diet which the previous vet told me to only feed dry kibble which I felt wasn’t healthy. Overall, I am very happy to have found them and feel my dog is in the best of hands! I just wish I found them sooner. Prices are reasonable, no upselling”

“Dr Gallo took me and my cat same day as a walk in. She personally called the next day to see how my cat was doing and helped me to get her healthy again. She is what you hope for in a family vet❤️ you don’t see this much anymore. She was very respectful of the amount of money I was spending and gave me options but did not at all push any expensive interventions or treatments. Highly recommend !”
