Wagner Farm Arboretum Foundation hosts the popular Brite Nites event, which features fun themes, impressive displays, and carved pumpkins. The event includes a spaceship scene built by a contractor, and a kiddie area with carnival games like corn hole. It’s especially enjoyed by families with young children, offering a nice atmosphere and decorations suitable for kids aged 9 and younger. Visitors appreciate the well-done displays, with highlights such as carved pumpkins and skeletons, and some mention the food trucks serving great burgers and pumpkin shakes. The event is a good local alternative to larger displays and helps support the arboretum through ticket sales. Though it can be crowded, with parking sometimes tricky after rain, many find it to be a fun, well-organized experience that has been enjoyed by families for years.
Our scopes were crammed busy until our 10pm shut down time... Unfortunately the last hour or so had some wispy clouds that tried to ruin the seeing of the big scopes. My SeeStat S50 was perfect to the end.
