“That cashier Jamie was just the nicest and prettiest girl alive, her kindest just made the whole store welcoming. I asked her a question and she went above and beyond to make sure my need was fulfilled. When she was checking me out we bonded over having the same name. #nametwins lol Her saying “ have a bless one” just hit me right in the heart. I will always appreciate her and look for her when I go in. She will be receiving a gift basket next time I arrive. They need more people like Jamie.”
“This store is very understaffed, and the company does this, not management and the associates. They are forced to work extra hard and additionally deal with frustrated customers day in and out. This store has the potential to have alot of traffic Only if the company would staff them better. I went into this store today. I had a frustrating experience. I didn't mean to have my mood change so quick, but it's been that type of day. I must say Barbara and the young man, I didn't catch his name tag he works there often, are amazing and super stars. They really endure alot from this company and us as shoppers. Somehow, they still manage to go out their way and please the customers and calm them down. I felt so terrible. As a person from our society and working industries... they truly did not deserve my mood, cooperate did if anyone. Thank you both for being so sweet, so kind, and spreading good energy. It really made my day. I hope you both have a great day and it's full of smiles. You both sure gave me one for my day! Thank you!”
“Excellent dollar store. The staff is very friendly. And, the store is well stocked. Every time I come here it’s a great experience. I get everything I need for a affordable price. I am looking forward to my next visit.”
“If you want helium balloons, then go here! We bought balloons on January 30th and they are still filled up and it is March 21. Maybe they’ll last another month? Best balloons ever!”
“By far the cleanest, well stocked and organized Dollar General in my area. There are multiple DG in a 15 minute drive, along with more passed during different commutes. This is the best DG in every category, period. The employees are friendly, actually smile, greet you and chat nicely. Other stores i'm worried if I say 'hi how are you' I might upset them or be asking something too much for their comprehension. DG, Berlin period. 5 stars.”
“Guy needs to know about merchandise? Its a 99 cents store what more do u need to know. I mean they don't have filet mignon but they got a whole bunch of stuff you never thought u could get for a dollar. Its funny u see people in target and Walmart thinking they're getting a deal. Nope thats a good price 99 cents is where its at all ki do of food drinks phone chargers that cost 17$ at cvs are a dollar. Same with otc (over the counter) medical supplies.”

“Great customer service, opened a second line for customer #3. This never happens in other locations until the line is 6-8 people deep. They were missing a few things I needed, but I can't fault them for that. Store was clean and neat, with a good crew”
“I recently placed my first order with Image Beauty, and I was thrilled with the experience. The very same day I submitted my order, it was packed and shipped—same-day service! This company provides truly exceptional e-commerce service. I found their prices below even competitors’ asking prices, enjoyed free shipping, and received my order within a quick delivery window. It was a pleasure doing business with them. In my experience, this company is one of the few e-commerce businesses that delivers on its promises without unnecessary hassle to their customers. I will absolutely be a repeat customer and look forward to shopping with this company again. Thank you Image Beauty for your outstanding service!”
“This store was huge and I found what I needed rather quick. I can’t remember if they had refrigerated items or not. The check out lady was nasty. She was like the Price is Right announcer at 9PM. I did not appreciate it much but whatever. This shopping center is amazing and I was happy to be there.”
“Great place and staff is always friendly. They also take time to review options on different items such as which wines or seltzer drinks are better. They are always able to answer my questions and whoever does the ordering very knowledgeable on what people are drinking.”
“I prefer going to Dollar General over acne or shoprite. Sometimes prices here are actually way cheaper than both in the big stores, people are very friendly and knowledgeable.”
“Thank you Darlene Abby. I was in the Voorhees location about two weeks ago and Darlene treated me with such kindness and great customer service. Darlene I appreciate you and this is why I took the time to write this review. You're such a good human and I hope your management gets a chance to see this and reward you some how. Because in today's climate, just knowing how to treat people seems to be lost. But you Ms Lady, ? have it down pack. All the best to you.”
“We had to leave our family’s New Years’s Eve party to get a few forgotten items. Dollar General became our rescuer. We found the few items we needed and more. But the biggest “take away” was how kind, entertaining, and personal the cashier was. She was very patient to help us find what we needed and also suggested a few additional items. She was great! Today we’ve met a few of the nicest cashiers anywhere in New Jersey.”
“Three young girls were working and they were confronted by an upset customer. They stayed professional, and non-confrontational. I was actually pleasantly surprised.”

“I like this dollar store, the employees are so nice and helpful. Even when you can tell they’re having a rough day. They maintain general kindness. The store is always stocked well and organized. Helpful with the digital coupons, and patient.”
“The Last Few WeeksThe Store Has Been Neat And Organized They Seem To Have Everything Put Together And The Team Member Terry Seems To Always Be Here On Her Own And Is Very Hard Working Very Respectful To Customers And Is So Nice Everytime I Stop In The Company Should Definitely Give This Employee Some Recognition????”
Burlington Stores is giving its locations a major makeover. The off-price retailer has already transformed about half of its 1,115 stores and plans to complete the redesign across its entire fleet by the end of 2026. The company calls this makeover "Store Experience 2.0." Gone are the cramped aisles and confusing layouts that once defined discount shopping. Instead, Burlington is creating wider walkways, organized sections, and clearer signs to help shoppers find what they need.
Dollar General is adding more of its private label food offerings to stores, following similar moves by big retailers like Walmart and Amazon as store brands keep growing in popularity. The store is launching new items under its own labels, including ice cream, cinnamon rolls, coffee syrups, and salad dressings. The move comes as store brand sales reached $271 billion in 2024, up nearly 4% from 2023.

Dollar Tree is moving into 170 former 99 Cents Only stores, marking a big shift in the discount retail landscape. The company announced Wednesday it's taking over leases in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas, with plans to reopen the stores under its own brand as early as fall 2024.
Ollie's Bargain Outlet just landed a great deal of its own, winning a $14.6 million bankruptcy auction for 11 former 99 Cents Only store locations across Texas. The discount retail chain pounced after 99 Cents Only abruptly went out of business in March, shuttering all 371 of its stores in California, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada. Ollie's quickly made an opening "stalking horse bid" to grab over a dozen of the empty properties.
