After a few, let's just say, 'learning experiences' with the law, I've become pretty particular about where I pick up my drinks.This place? It's got what you need. Selection's solid – comparable to other stores around Warwick. Whether you're into wines, spirits, or something else, they've probably got it. The Santa Margarita Pinot Noir is a bit on the pricey side at $29, but hey, they've got other options that won't break the bank.Now, the staff here – top-notch. I was in a rush to meet some buddies, and it was near closing time. The lady there didn't rush me or anything. Even offered a bag for my bottles without charging extra. That's rare these days, trust me.Store's layout is straightforward, clean, well-lit. But let me give you a heads-up about the parking lot – it's a bit tight. My ride's not huge, so it was fine, but just be mindful if you're driving something bigger.Here's the deal – if you're driving down 17A, this spot is worth stopping at. But, and I can't stress this enough, watch your speed around Greenwood Lake. Cops here are on the ball, especially at night. They're always on the lookout for speeders and folks who've had one too many. I've learned my lesson the hard way, so take it from me – slow down and stay sober behind the wheel. This store's great, but it's not worth the risk of running into the law.In summary, Black Bear Wine and Spirits is a solid choice. Just remember to play it safe on the roads, folks.”

“Simply put, the Highland General Store is my favorite store in the world. Somehow they always have exactly what you need. I can wonder around the warehouse stores for what seems like hours and not find what I need. In the Highland General store they always have it, whether it’s hardware, bulbs, paint, alcohol, select groceries, deli, even Italian ice in the summer. This store is an icon, comparable in my opinion to the Hasegawa General Store in Maui (better known as the Hana General Store). I have been going to Highland General Store for over 40 years and I want to express my appreciation to the family that has owned and run it over multiple generations. It is a truly great place, everyone who lives in that area of northern NJ is privileged to be able to shop there.”

Nayant saved me as I was staring at his massive selection of local craft beers, which my brother loves and which I wanted to surprise him with a selection of. I was going to chose based on labels I liked... Nayant saw my panic/overwhelm and kindly asked if I needed help.I asked if I could just hand over the selection to him and not only did he truly take time to curate a selection of beers -- asking questions about my brother's tastes -- he also shared some local brewing knowledge with me.Beverage Plus is now my go-to for any boozy purchase... and I'll keep trusting Nayant's suggestions!”

“It's a small store with a limited selection. But what makes it a place I like to shop is the workers. The two guys I see in there are super friendly and remember me form years back. They keep me coming back. One gentleman is older and the other one who works different days is younger and could be his son. “This liquor store is my "go to." The manager "V" is very friendly and willing to work with me. For example, he ordered the potato vodka I'd enjoyed in Maine, namely Cold River Vodka, distilled in Freeport. He bought an entire case for the store, and I'm only up to my third bottle, including a gift for someone. Also, given a rare inability to leave the house, he took my credit card over the phone and allowed my friends to pick up beer and spirits for me. Just on my word only. I think that's service a anyone and beyond.... He has "everything." Try Bloomingdale Discount Liquors!”
