“This place is freaking amazing. My friends and I all met up from out of state to go to the Ren Faire. We stayed in Greenwood Lake, and needed some beer.
We stopped in, and were immediately greeted by two of the friendliest people you will ever meet. The woman was very knowledgable about the selection, style of beer, and where they came from. They have an immense selection of NY brews, as well as other Northeastern beers.
If you find yourself in this neck of the woods, you have to stop in. You will not regret it. If I ever find myself back here, I will definitely be back to interact with these folks.”

After a few, let's just say, 'learning experiences' with the law, I've become pretty particular about where I pick up my drinks.This place? It's got what you need. Selection's solid – comparable to other stores around Warwick. Whether you're into wines, spirits, or something else, they've probably got it. The Santa Margarita Pinot Noir is a bit on the pricey side at $29, but hey, they've got other options that won't break the bank.Now, the staff here – top-notch. I was in a rush to meet some buddies, and it was near closing time. The lady there didn't rush me or anything. Even offered a bag for my bottles without charging extra. That's rare these days, trust me.Store's layout is straightforward, clean, well-lit. But let me give you a heads-up about the parking lot – it's a bit tight. My ride's not huge, so it was fine, but just be mindful if you're driving something bigger.Here's the deal – if you're driving down 17A, this spot is worth stopping at. But, and I can't stress this enough, watch your speed around Greenwood Lake. Cops here are on the ball, especially at night. They're always on the lookout for speeders and folks who've had one too many. I've learned my lesson the hard way, so take it from me – slow down and stay sober behind the wheel. This store's great, but it's not worth the risk of running into the law.In summary, Black Bear Wine and Spirits is a solid choice. Just remember to play it safe on the roads, folks.”

“Favorite place to visit feels like a adults candy store(so many choices to choose from). This store has unlimited choices of wines anything you ask it’s there available(even if it’s not there staff always tries hard enough to make sure next visit it’s available). For example, he ordered the potato vodka I'd enjoyed in Maine, namely Cold River Vodka, distilled in Freeport. He bought an entire case for the store, and I'm only up to my third bottle, including a gift for someone. Also, given a rare inability to leave the house, he took my credit card over the phone and allowed my friends to pick up beer and spirits for me. Just on my word only.
