“Store is kept in good order and employees are friendly. Just don't buy chocolate here. Its just never fresh. And the last time the chocolate had def melted and re-solidified. Super fucking gross. I was able to return it without any hassle.”

“This Dollar Tree off Route 46 in Clifton, is one of the larger Dollar Trees around. It's more than twice the size of most others in the area. As a result, there is a much larger selection of items inside. I found the decorations and stationary sections to be quite substantial, as with the household goods. There are some good food selections, but a lot of food options that I liked are no longer available. The service and counter people are tremendous as well.”

“Long story short, I needed to update the ugly boob lights in my apartment. I got the inspo (see photo), headed to Dollar Tree and ended up making this for under $8. So proud I had to show off.
This particular Dollar Tree was out of a lot of things. No hot glue sticks, entire rows in the crafts section out of stock.
I asked the manager about it and she was very kind. She said they just get whatever they send so you can’t even ask them to get products. Like it seems the inventory is random. This was around June 2nd 2025.
?Tip: They do answer the phone so give them a call before driving over if you’re going for something specific. Very good chance they’re out and you can save yourself the trip.”

“UPDATE 4/9/24: Went early. Very empty - at first. Boxes were so crowded in the isles, we had to leave our carts in other isle to squeeze past the rows of boxes.
We could not access the shelves due to the isle blockage by the tons of boxes.
They should pay overtime to hire people during closing hours to unload.
The smaller bottles of brand name sodas like Pepsi have gone up to $1.75.

Since I couldn't shop due to the boxes, I grabbed a few things then left.
UPDATE: 7/20/23-Once again, very organized. They have tons more employees. Even the manager works. They were still stocking on shelves. Customers keep this place very busy.

5/2023- The store on St. Nicholas Avenue, closed permanently. I then ventured up to this store and was shocked to see it so disorganized! Items were misplaced and on some isles, it looked like a mini explosion. Even the manager was up on a ladder, and he rarely comes out.
There was only one employee at the cash register, and the check out line was all the way back to the freezers.
Normally, there are other employees stacking shelves. Not one was present.
I assumed this store simply took the stock from the closed store, but because there weren't employees stocking shelves, I don't know what to think.
This store is (was?) one of the best. Oh well...

Love the selection. Variety, and going earlier than later. Even 3pm, on a bus is late-especially on a Friday-any Friday! The beauty is there's a bus stop directly in front of the store so you don't have far to drag your body on your return trip home. Or you can walk around the corner to the A train.
BRING YOUR OWN SHOPPING BAG! Or else pay for theirs. I bring a backpack and a large, shopping bag.
They have such unique items, every week: Fanta Strawberry soda, infused exfoliating bath cloth, etc.”

“I like the store and it helps me save my money, why, the things I have bought are very useful to me. And no, I regret it, please let these stores last a long time, and one observation, please put 2 or 3 cashiers. Why are the lines very long and sometimes you leave the store without being able to buy because of the time that is sometimes limited for customers?”

“It's a good replacement for a Dollar Tree for the area, at least they sell things for 1.25 (the new dollar apparently) but check the expiration dates on stuff before you buy. I bought some snacks and had to exchange them cuz they were expired. But they gave me no issues since I had the receipt. Their return policy is only 7 days though psh so make sure to notice on time ?”

“They had my diet Dr pepper( hard to find in my area), my boxes of chocolate movie theater candy. Different varieties for 1.25. The only thing I couldn't find was my whatchamacallit candy bar. I find them there. Something else that's hard to find in my area.”
