“I go here almost daily with 5-15 packages and the staff is amazing. Everything is prepaid and they scan it in and give me a receipt no problem. I’ve had my son or parents drop stuff off for me and they treat them just as nice. Anytime I have questions they are happy to help and explain what needs to be purchased to ship my items the correct way. I’ve gone to a lot of post offices in the area and Mahwah is hands down the nicest and most informative.”

“The women who work here are the kindest and most patient employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with at a post office. I will never use my local post offices again because this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. They helped me use up old postage I ordered incorrectly so I could mail several packages without wasting it or buying new stamps. They were patient and kind and pleasant with everyone. We had a lovely conversation while they helped me and I honestly can’t say enough nice things. Best post office in the COUNTY!!! “I had to come do a review because folks tend to review only with bad experiences and not good ones. I come to this post office because it's close to us, closes at 3 on Saturdays, and the folks behind the desk are so helpful and nice. Never have had an issue and I've had service by different personnel. I like this over any other post office in Rockland... especially palisades mall where one person in particular is rude and miserable.”
“I’ve been coming here for a while now. The counter people are super nice. The rest…. We’ll USPS is my last choice with any packages. They lie and pass the buck with the worst of them. I sent an overnight package cross country and the carrier ON VIDEO went to the door, looked around and left. No notice, knock or doorbell. The same carrier came back the next morning, signed my clients name (incorrectly) and dropped it in the mail box. They denied me a refund with no explanation. I have the cure… it’s ongoing ???”

“I'm fascinated by the amount of negative reviews. This is a post office that is consistently OPEN extended hours because all other nearby branches close earlier. They work hard and efficiently and there's always 2 people working (well at least every time I go).

“Pretty well known post office.Has everything you need from a front desk, drop off boxes, you name it. Staff are quite slow but USPS’s feel understaffed everywhere.Some post offices don’t have drop off boxes so I come to this location to which has plenty of options to send your packages.Bear in mind, post offices are overclocked during the holidays.”

“I do not think I've ever encountered a U.S. postal service with 5 stars. I was curious and in the area so visited this location, and was impressed. It's in a cute area, across the street from a cafe. The post office was clean, and not busy whatsoever. Also, the mail clerk who helped me was kind, helpful, and professional. Definitely recommend this post office if you are in the area and in need of shipping.”
“I love this post office. I drive out from NYC periodically and I save up my packages to send out whenever I’m in town here just so I can go to this location and avoid the hassle at every single post office in the city. Everyone is friendly here, there’s never a line, and even though it’s a small location with only a few parking spots up front there’s additional parking in the back and it’s never crowded. I always just get in and get out stress free.”
“Say what you want about this place, but likely it’s a USPS problem and not a Lodi thing. IMO this location is immensely better than the Hasbrouck heights one, and staff is much more personable- not to mention they aren’t closed for a full hour in the middle of the day for no reason”
“I went to the Pearl River post office to renew my passport. Steve gave me the forms to fill out and told me what I needed to complete the process. When I came back he took the needed pictures. He couldn’t have been nicer. He was kind, communicative and competent. He made a stressful task easy. Thank you Steve!”
“Mrs. Karen is a very professional person.She helped me and my daughter thru the process to obtain our passports. Mrs. Karen shows multi cultural competency and excellent social skills. She is very skilled on taking good pictures and make children to cooperate for pictures. She guided me thru the process, answered questions, and clarified doubts. She is the agent that evey client would love to have for assistance. She is very fast assisting clients which avoids delays in the services offered. I recommend this facility to all residents of NJ. She made us feel welcome.”

“This was the WORST post office I’ve ever used, to visit. I complained and had long talks with the postmaster. He assured me things will improve, and they have been better since our conversation. The staff was rude, terribly slow and unprofessional, and lacked training- expect for employee named GLEN, older gentleman worked very hard and made my day, whenever I dropped off packages, GLEN is only best employee at this location.. his very helpful & not lazy or asleep like other employees… TARA AND JENNA WERE THE ABSOLUTE WORST TO WORK WITH EXTREMELY LAZY AND NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE…MARK HAS IMPROVED A LOT AND IS NOW NICE TO WORK WITH AND IS WORKING HARDER & FASTER however… The postmaster Gabriel, turned this location around, and made the location better. If it wasn’t for the postmaster, this location would have been shut down for lack of service and loss of sales performance. Overall customer service is improving from the past, the only thing I can suggest now is hiring maybe one or two new employees who are computer savvy and are fast workers to add to the employment here, and keep windows active and lines short. Nonetheless it’s all because of Gabriel E. Ali the postmaster for the success of this location. Thank you for listening to my issues and concerns.. and delivering on your promises. Sincerely - Tony.
