There is never a wait here for a table as well or at most 15mins compared to other places with 45mins-1hr wait times. A trip to the wildwoods is not complete if I don’t come here.

Britton's Gourmet Bakery
5600 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood CrestYou know it will be great when locals line up out of season for it. The service was fast, professional, and above all friendly. The aromas eminating from the kitchen were wonderful. I'd recommend the muffins, doughnuts, apple fritters, and cinnamon rolls. Coffee was fresh and hot. Tables are outside.
Definitely my go to spot in the morning from now on when I visit. ☕🍩

A little cafe
8700 New Jersey Avenue, Wildwood CrestI took a morning coffee run to A Little Cafe during a weekend beach trip to the Jersey Shore, and I’m so glad I stopped by! If you’re looking for a cute coffee shop, bakery, or breakfast spot in Wildwood Crest, this is definitely one to check out.
First of all, this place is adorable. It’s a cute little purple building that’s easy to spot, with an equally charming interior and outdoor patio seating for warmer days. They also have their own parking lot (access on W Hollywood Ave), which is super convenient, especially in a beach town. The staff were very kind, warm, and helpful.
I was impressed by how extensive the menu is. They have tons of options for coffee and tea, baked goods and pastries, breakfast, lunch, salads, smoothies, and more. I initially stopped in just expecting to grab coffee, but there was so much to choose from.
The bakery case is definitely a highlight. They bake their treats fresh in-house, and everything looked incredible! Honestly, they could consider adding “Bakery” to the name alongside “Cafe” because their items looked (and tasted) so delicious.
I was especially happy to see that they had gluten-free baked goods available. I ended up getting a cappuccino, a gluten-free crumb cake, and a gluten-free blueberry muffin. The crumb cake was outrageously good. My friend (who, unlike me, is not gluten-free) had the blueberry muffin. She said it was incredible and that she couldn’t tell it was gluten-free!
They also had a Butterscotch Scone that wasn’t gluten-free but looked and sounded amazing. I was told it’s especially popular right now, and I believe the flavor may be seasonal, so if you’re visiting in the fall, it might be worth it for an autumn outing!
I’ll absolutely have to come back to try breakfast or lunch, especially because I was told they also offer gluten-free bread for their sandwiches.
Overall, I had such a wonderful experience at A Little Cafe. Between the charming atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff, huge menu, fresh baked goods, and gluten-free options, this was such a great find in Wildwood Crest. I’m already looking forward to coming back!
