Even though we had a difficult shipment this week with an oversized 700 lb crate, the driver John M. went above and beyond. What a pleasure it was to have him there and such a great guy.

Extremely Frustrated with Delivery Experience
I ordered a product through Amazon, and the delivery was scheduled through ABF. They called to confirm my address and told me the item would arrive before 5pm. At 5:15pm, the driver finally calls me — only to say he’s on an 18-wheeler and can’t make the delivery. Then he hangs up on me.
I tried calling him back to work out a solution — maybe I could meet him somewhere with a pickup truck. I also texted. No response.
I then called the delivery company (which oddly uses a different name on their website), and after explaining everything, I was transferred to a supervisor… who transferred me again to dispatch. I explained that I have an HVAC installer scheduled for 8am and need the delivery. Instead of helping, Ed at dispatch acted like it was my fault: “We deliver 250 packages a day with no issue.” Not helpful.
I asked if it was company policy to hang up on customers, or to not mention ahead of time that delivery will be made with an 18-wheeler. I had clearly told them this was for a small business — wouldn’t that be a good time to confirm whether a truck that size could access the location?
Now I’m told I have to wait and call again in the morning to maybe get a time for delivery with a normal-sized truck.
So to recap:
• I waited all day
• Was called after the scheduled window
• Hung up on by the driver
• Told I need to follow up myself for a redelivery
• And now risk delays with an HVAC install I’ve already scheduled
Is this really how Amazon and ABF handle deliveries? I’m stunned by the lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service.

I had freight shipping from Philadelphia PA to Piscataway NJ on Monday, 5/19. You would think this would only take 1-2 days at the most to deliver. I was just told that the freight may be delivered on Friday, 5/23, but could be Tuesday, 5/27. I have no idea how anyone is still shipping freight with this company. If this is a publicly traded company, I would suggest anyone who owns stock in them, to sell immediately!!! If you are a driver for them, you may want to update your resume and start looking for a new job.

Delivery is ridiculous. Got text would be delivered within 1 hour which last time I checked meant anywhere inside an hour. So I left one job to go meet delivery now has been 1 hour and 45 minutes. I call and the response I get is thats why we don't give a specific time we give a window. And that's when I mention the text and delivery said within an hour. She didn't have a response and then kept saying hello hello and hung up. I called back two more times and they transferred me right away to where no one picks up. Communication is ridiculous and the fact they are not taking anyone's time into consideration and thinking people have all day to wait on them is ridiculous. And the fact is if they had to wait on me they would not and just leave

Horrible service especially coordinator name Linda,very rude with very nasty attitude.Prior to delivery contacted me and ask me to assist the driver with a delivery, she said if you do not help the driver to unload the truck that means you are refusing a delivery. She said that they have only one driver and load is too heavy. I paid for the shipping and I am assuming that curbside delivery can be done even without my presence.End result is that me and the driver who I have nothing to complain about he did an excellent job , unload over 960 pounds piece by piece.Once again driver has nothing to do with that he followed the order that is all.
