I went there yesterday and was taken care of by Angie. The staff here are so kind and patient and friendly. My mom passed away two years ago from covid so we was having trouble accessing funds from her account since she didn't leave a will. Angie was able to help me with the steps necessary to acquiring the funds from her account and notarizing the L-8 form for me today. Two days at chase bank and Angie was very helpful! Thank you!!!!!!

I went to the Chase to have a document notarized and they stated that I needed an appointment to do so. This is strange because it takes a maximum of 5 minutes to complete. I asked when an appointment was available, and the teller advised that the appointments are fully booked for the next day and did not offer any other appointment times. The teller stated I should go to UPS instead to have my document notarized. This is terrible customer service and will be closing my accounts with Chase immediately.

If I could use zero stars to rate the Avenel Chase branch, I would. Just know that today was the third time I had to endure the harsh treatment of the bankers at the Avenel Chase Branch lead by the "acting Manager" and real title is the Assistant Vice President Private Client Banker Ms. Hetal Desai NMLS ID: 602879, the second Assistant Vice President Private Client Banker Mr. Temor Mir NMLS ID: 1535999 and the Associate Banker Ms. Leyris Martínez. This trio is so biased that I will send them to take a mandatory course in race relations. I could not tell you which one is the worst at doing their job but all three of them tried to make me feel that kind of way...inappropiate. Of course, they failed but fueled me to review this defective branch and their antics...These three individuals Hetal Desai, Temor Mir and Leyris Martínez deserved extended training to develop real customer service skills which they are lacking right now. I don't make this evaluation lightly. This is my 3rd unfortunate experience with the trio. Indeed, I've never been treated more poorly before by a banker at any bank in the USA. From their condescending demeanor, to their patronizing tone, to their poor choices of words and lack of empathy and professionalism...these three individuals Hetal Desai, Temor Mir and Leyris Martinez have found the perfect recipe to chase clients away from this Chase Bank branch. They did it for me. I will never want to be in their presence again. I made sure that after they refused to deposit my check today Thursday 11/9/2023 not only I deposited the check with Wells Fargo but I took my time to issue a complaint with the Chase Customer Service Department. So many lessons to be learned by this trio...Look up at the Colonia Chase branch and be ashamed of your poor performance. These three are truly petty and small individuals that don't belong serving the public in the name of Chase.

Hey hey Adventurers! The few times I've had to come here the ATM's outside are either down or not accepting deposits, or the machine doesn't read the bills I submitted. The times I had to interact with staff, so far it's been good no issues. But the one time I had to withdraw a 'large' amount for me the guy laughed and said that's not a lot. Even if it's not a lot to you and I gave you a slip of paper to read, don't say it aloud and scoff at me. Like someone could hear and rob me for $20. Anyhoo, def recommend going to Metuchen, staff is nicer and way more professional.

Horrible customer service. Fraud Friendly, they don’t care about clients . No one wants to work they tell you that they can’t help you just to get rid of you . Worst bank I’ve ever seen in my life.

This place has horrible customer service, and a staff that seems to discrimine against LGBTQ people. Every experience at this Chase location is never enjoyable. I never feel welcomed nor appreciated and valued as a customer. Do not come to this location for banking needs.

My husband and I went there to obtain notary stamp and we were told to schedule an appointment for a next day because the notary is booked. In the meantime she was directing other people that walked to the bank. Took clients without appointment but could not accommodate us because we were not Spanish speaking individuals. This is clearly discrimination act! I will never go back to this location! Awful customer service!

If I can give no stars I will but unfortunatelyI never had an issue with any chase branch in my years being a client until the past few times in this location location I was awaiting to take cash out of my account three customers were ahead of me and did not want to be taken by this teller (NOT SURPRISED). I approached the teller CAROLINA she responded to me unprofessionally and with a rude attitude this is not the first incident. She treated me with disrespect and her tone and approach about my account was out of line especially when asking her a question her response was "You did not hear me the first time, I am telling you your options if you can't handle my tone then you should take your business somewhere else" When I asked her can I have all 100 bills she responded "I can not do so and need to take what I give you" (Meanwhile the other person before me got all 100 bills with a big amount not sure what the difference is) This issue needs to be resolved as you will lose clients with a disrespectful attitude as this teller needs to be addressed in this location and to be taught manners with other people. If you can not work in customer service then this JOB is basically not for her. NEVER IN MY EXPEREINCE IN CHASE HAVE I GONE THROUGH THIS! BEWARE of this LOCATION as you have been WARNED!

Had the pleasure of meeting Hetal Desai at the Chase bank in Avenel. SheWas wonderful, helpful, kind and did her job well. She was quick and outstanding in all areas that were needed! So very glad we ended up with her to help us. Thanks you so much . If you need a private client banker I highly recommend her….she’s fantastic and represents Chase bank well!

I went when the branch was totally empty today on 04/01/2023 Saturday . We were looking to update the legal name chance on my wife and bring a few accounts from Morgan Stanley. The private banker had no intention on helping us , not only he mentioned about the appointment but even if I waited until he finished with one person that he had that I still might not even be serviced . I worked in banking for years and there was no customer service oriented at this place . We went to the teller and we were told that there are no appointments until April 11th . We understand if people with appointments go before us, what I don’t understand is even if you wait for two hours that you can get service , what if I had fraud on my account, or needed to open an account with a large balance. Both of employees showed no empathy or were at least nice . As of today my wife transferred most of her funds back to Morgan Stanley.
