This review is strictly about Ms. Bonnie and Ms. Karen.Ms. Bonnie and Ms. Karen are the absolute best!! I refer to them as the dynamic duo. Together, they run a smooth classroom. They are both very nurturing with the children. Ms. Bonnie takes great pride in her work and plans her own developmentally appropriate and interactive lessons for the children. With limited school resources they make it work! Ms. Karen also has a special relationship with the children and is very caring and loving. As a therapist, I have been in countless daycare settings. Ms. Bonnie and Ms. Karen are truly special. They are invested in their students and provide an environment where children are loved, learn, grow, and have fun with peers.

My baby loves Miss Lyz, she’s the best with the kids. My daughter has learned a lot. Everyone else in the school is really nice as well. every time I go to work I feel safe thinking that my baby is in good hands

Very very poor child care. I should’ve known from the moment I visited the school to see if I’d want to enroll my daughter. I didn’t get that vibe from them that they care nor were they friendly. Not one of the teachers or staff looked my way or smiled when I was getting the tour of the school. They just went about their business like they clearly don’t care the impression they made. Still, I decided to enroll my daughter there because of all the false promises and selling points the director told me that day. She was enrolled for two months before I pulled her. And I would’ve pulled her after the first month if I could find another daycare that had availability. There were a bunch of things I noticed while she was there1. The teachers do not tend to the kids. They are mostly on their phones or just sit there and let the kids play on their own. They also don’t help the kids eat or feed them. My daughter was 19 months when she started with them. I told them she can’t feed herself with a spoon so on days when they get cereal for breakfast she will need help with that. I’d literally sit there and watch the camera and watch as the teacher placed milk and cereal infront my daughter and then sat there and watched her struggle with the spoon for like 10 mins, and then when my daughter got tired of struggling with the spoon. She gave up and literally stuck her hand in the bowl and ate milk and cereal for an hr with her hands. No help from the teacher2. They lie and place blame on the kids for any little thing rather than just take accountability like an adult. I caught them in so many lies that I can’t even count. It’s like they don’t care that there is camera access and that parents are watching because they’re still gonna do what they do and lie about things that were clearly seen on the camera.3. It’s dirty. The floors, mats that the kids play on.4. No structure. No curriculum. It’s more of a baby sitter than daycare. No communication what so ever. The director knows nothing.and then I believe she quit or left because I stopped seeing her after the first month.Overall, if you want quality child care where your feel comfortable and like family and can completely trust to take proper care of your child, this is not the place

This is not a good school in my opinion at all !!!This place started out great and there are two teachers Miss Alex and miss Laura that are amazing ! They made my son so happy and cared for him truly ! Thank you to them! But unfortunately turned horrible with the director and the school! The things I keep reading about Bonnie are true ! She has been physically and verbally aggressive to the kids. I had one incident where Bonnie kicked my sons lunchbox pulled him down into the chair and pushed it in hard and I immediately called and the director said she would look into it. After that I didn’t see Bonnie for a while. But she wasn’t fired! There was constantly too many kids per teacher, the one teacher miss liz was constantly on her phone ignoring the kids and throwing their food on the table when she HAD to get off her phone for a second. I could see her phone on the camera and she would be scrolling instagram and texting. It got so bad I called the head of the academy, Stacy, and Stacy pretended to care and then never followed up with me or the teachers as promised! There was no structure when miss Alex wasn’t there and my son frequently was upset and needed to get picked up early because they were neglecting the kids. He even got bit and when i asked what happened the director said we don’t really know because no one saw it! Whaaaaaat?! There’s cameras how do you not know and why wasn’t miss Liz watching ?!?!?!Then I unenrolled my son for the summer l because it was getting too much and he was going to kindergarten after the summer anyway, the school director said he couldn’t participate in the graduation when he had been there all year! Luckily the teachers stepped in and said he absolutely will walk with his class because that’s not right!

I do not recommend this place at all. From the moment I put my daughter, who was only there for a month and a half, she started to get sick, they called me that my daughter had fallen. They don’t pay attention to the kids.

I had my 2yr old daughter join in CWA for almost a year. We had just moved to USA from Europe and I really wanted to find a place where she would be safe and could learn. I was lucky/blessed to have found Mrs. Sachelyn. My daughter joined her in Classroom #5 and due to her passionate work my daughter started talking again, learned colors/numbers/animals/letters in English and could communicate in sign language.Mrs Sachelyn set our standards very high! She took care of my daughter with love and kindness. She was very patient and understanding.Mrs. Sachelyn was also very communicative and would always communicate with me if there was something wrong with my baby for ex. If she was sick.My 5 start ratings goes towards her and her teacher assitant Mrs. Jamie. It saddens me deeply that I had to take my daughter out of this school due to the lack of management and communication from the upper level to the parents, which for me is completely unnaceptable. So once again, my 5 start ratings are for those teachers that TRULY make the difference and the reason we stayed as long as we did!

This place is not what it appears to be. Well put together on the outside & in the classrooms. However, it’s the staff that make it terrible.Enrolled my son for 3 weeks and had him removed. He is now in a school where staff members are more compassionate and attentive.

Terrible. Sadly the parent has to watch on camera all day wondering what are they paying for. Here’s a list:Staff are on their phones constantly. After breakfast the kids are left to play on their own till it’s outdoor play.No learning time/curriculum with the 1yr to 1.8yr olds. No circle time. No reading of books. No teaching the kids basics . No developmental education at all. No interactions with staff and kids.No education here! Your kid is on their own!No nurturing/affection given. Only to the children of the staff that attend this school. Your kid has to cry for an hour or so, chasing staff around, watching while the staff holds and comforts their own child or other staff members children as your child carry’s on crying and hysterical for some type of comfort or affection.Sad but true.I recommend Montessori for a lesser fee, your child is EDUCATED and has workers that actually are affectionate, care and attend your child needs.

This place needs to get shut down ASAP! It is not a safe environment or clean environment for our children or even employees. I worked there and it’s disgusting. The director is not professional AT ALLLLL!! Stresses about these kids but then in the parents faces is a complete different person. She does not care about anyone or less the children. I quit and left the job because there is an employee working there still walking around children when she assaulted a 3yr old that went to our school and still is on the clock. I quit and I wanted my medical records, she refused to give me MYYYYY medical paperwork. I went to the school and asked for for my papers and she “lost them”. SOO how have I been working with no paperwork??? With children??? Where is all my medical records that I had to take off a week from work to go and get for her. State needs to come and do a huge investigation on this place it’s not a good place AT ALL!

Notice how all the most positive reviews are from YEARS ago? CWA is known for covering up criticism, abuse, and unsanitary conditions. They care more about salvaging their reputation–so they can keep taking your money– rather than doing what's best for the kids. Be careful where you send your children!

My son Has been going to CWA since he was 10 months old. In the peak of COVID I had no worries in handing my infant over at the door and 3 years later I still feel the same way. No school is perfect but I have never had an issue with open communication and my concerns being addressed as soon as I voice them. The staff have always treated my son as one of their own and he loves them. He will still look for his infant room teacher for a big hug because of the bond they share.

Beware there is a staff member on site who is known to use physical/ verbal aggression towards children. I have heard and witnessed these things myself and have made many reports to the director of the school who fails to properly remove the staff member ( Bonnie ) from the building. She currently has an open case for child ab*se and is still actively on site. Keep your children away !

My kids love going to Children’s World Academy. They’ve been attending for a few years and my oldest is very sad to leave for elementary school in a couple weeks. The teachers and director are great! I trust them with my children and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality childcare. Also, Bonnie is a sweetheart. Disregard the negative slander posts by one upset parent who had all her friends review and bash this place with 1 star ratings. Everything she is claiming is false and exaggerated

Don’t recommend no one to send their child to this place. A less you are okay with your child being mistreated and being in a dirty unsafe environment. Non of the staff have the best interests for your child and will not report any incidents that occurs on their watch and will put the blame on someone else when it’s brought to their attention please don’t send your child here it’s not worth your child’s safety. THIS SCHOOL NEEDS TO BE CLOSED OR REHIRE NEW STAFF that’s trained to care for children and knows how to follow protocol and communicate better with the parents !!!

Horrible unprofessional place. Putting hands on children should never be brushed under the rug.
