The optician himself is super great. He's thorough and does an excellent job. He gets a 5 star. But the optical gets a negative 1 from me. Their prices are ridiculously outrageous, and the eyeglasses even though you're paying high price you get really cheap eyeglasses. My son's eyeglasses handle was broken by his baby sister 7 months old, I went to have ur repaired because I was told I had free repair and a free replacement should anything happen. Got their and I'm being told I have to pay 25.00 for Shipping to have it repaired? Like WHAT? Are you kidding me, I already paid $125 for these glasses and now I have to pay not even for repair but for shipping? Please, do not buy your glasses or frames here. Please go anywhere else. I will nit be making any other eyeglasses purchases at this optical but I will continue to use the optician. Totally not worth it. Also, I contacted their Customer service department and the person I spoke to kept mixing up thier response to me, 1 minute they say 1 thing after I questionthem on the response they changes their answer. Either way I'm out of pocket again because I have to still get my child's eyeglasses fixed but not here.

I really don’t understand the bad reviews, The people giving bad reviews for no reason. i went here to get my eyes checked, turns out I need glasses, order my glasses there the same day, 2 weeks later they called me, saying my glasses were ready for pickup. I then set my appointment at 1pm to pick my glasses up. I even arrived 30 min late and they still attended me. Really good service, really nice people. They might ask you that they might recommend certain options for your lenses that cost more, but it’s obviously optional.

I was looking for an optometrist to do an exam for my 3 kids age 5, 7 and 11 and to purchase eyeglasses for them. I was able to schedule all 3 of them at the same time which was great . I was happy to see that there is a new Dr there, Dr Fernandes who really took a lot of time to examine them thoroughly. The kids special that the Jcpenney Optical is running is a great deal, even with blue filter and antiglare. Very happy with the staff. Although the store was very busy, they seemed to be able to handle all the patients well. The optician and staff were very knowledgeable. Happy with the experience.

You request that we make an appointment to order glasses but the phone listed is not the correct number and the other number I called no one picks up and you can’t leave a message. I went there in person and there was no one there, yet you made me make an appointment for another day. You are not going to get any business this way!

I went to JCPO this morning for my scheduled visit. I went in for the two pair for $99 complete. I was very happy with my purchase. I was helped by a young man named Hector. Hector was very knowledgeable, friendly, answered all my questions, gave me all the time that I needed and explained everything to me. He was such a refreshing change to the places I went before and I really appreciated it. I would recommend my family members and all my friends to visit the Woodbridge JCPenney’s optical office.

Horrible, if the doctor leaves then you are out of luck if you need a prescription to buy glasses or get contacts. They are independent so your medical information goes with the doctor. Will never use them again.

Two weeks ago, middle of July, I went to JCP in Woodbridge Mall NJ to buy glasses. There was a sale of 60% off for 1 pair of glasses. The salesperson quoted me a price of $185.00 including the frames at a sale price of $52.00, add'l $40.00 for poly carbonate lens, and add'l cost of $20.00 due to a strong RX. I said I would think about it & he reminded me that the sale would be over at the end of the month. I went back today, July 31st, to purchase the glasses. The same salesperson wasn't there and the salesperson that assisted me told me the price would be $322.00 for the same glasses. She said that the sale was over in the middle of the July & I asked her what the price would have been then and she told me $225.00, still not the price I was originally quoted. Why is it that different salespeople have such a discrepancy when quoting prices to customers? Sounds unethical to me. Needless to say I won't be buying glasses at JCP in the future.

My wife needed glasses, and she went to JCP because there was a sign 2 for $99. The technician stated because of her RX (-5.50) there would be an added cost of $40 for each frame. He then mentioned a better deal- 50% off total cost. She picked a nice frame for $130, and the technician figured out the cost. With the frame cost at 50% off, that would be $65. The entire cost with polycarbonate lens would be $270! A complete ripoff, and they should be ashamed of themselves. Cheap plastic frames- probably cost $10 in China, just insulting. We are not cheap people, and don't mind paying for a service. But I will not get ripped off, and walked out. Nobody shopping at this location, I wonder why.

JC Penney has worse vision doctor. I went to Sumitra Agrawal in Woodbridge mall NJ 07095 and she was horrible. She gave me a very wrong prescription and once I got my glasses things were lopsided. When I went back to her - she blamed it all on me.
