Got a notice three days ago that Northfield bank had a data breach and the notice included a letter with a website that would provide me with info on how they were going to protect me. For 3 days that website said that they were having technical issues and to come back later. So next I called the bank yesterday and they gave me a number to call to help me. I now have listened Musik on that line for almost 30 minutes, Still no resolution, The most incompetent bank I have ever used. If your worried about your money, skip this bank!

MONDAY 8/14/23I JUST MET WITH THE REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT AND SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF GOVERNMENT BANKING AT THE WOOD AVE LINDEN BRANCH. THEY WERE EXCEPTIONALLY CORDIAL AND I TRULY FEEL TOTALLY EMBARRASSED ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE ON SATURDAY. THEY EXPLAINED IT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED, AND THINGS THAT WERE SAID TO ME WERE NOT EXACTLY CORRECT. I AM GRATEFUL TO HAVE BEEN SEEN AND HEARD. THANK YOU NORTHFIELD REPRESENTATIVES FOR SHOWING ME THE POSITIVE SIDE OF BANKING.ANDREA MOORE-SELITTO

I have been with Northfield Bank for 27 years. I LOVE THIS BANK. Each person is very personal and remembers their customers. Even when personnel changes, each one have given personal, friendly and excellent services. I will always be a customer an continue to support NORTHFIELD BANK especially the Avenel branch. THEY ARE WONDERFUL. Thank you Northfield Bank for your services.

I went to this bank recently and was pleasantly surprised. Parking was super easy , as for there is a large lot with plenty of spots. Upon walking in I was greeted immediately with friendly faces. The assistant manager Maureen came out immediately and introduces herself and asked what brought us in to Northfield , once I explained she and invited me into her office right away. She explained all types of accounts to me and all of their services. I am no familiar with a lot of banking information so to me this was extremely useful. Everything was explained in a simple manner that it didn't feel like she was just trying to up sell me like people at previous banks have made me feel. Once I figure out a few house keeping things I will most definitely be going to see Maureen and the rest of the friendly staff at this location. AND THE BEST PART WAS, there was hardly any wait at all. What a score these days when it comes to visiting banks I usually expect a headache by the time I leave however this experience was fantastic. I will be recommending Northfield bank to my friends! It is nice to know you can still get such great customer service in the crazy world we live in.
