“During my visit to ShopRite today, I had the pleasure of being helped by a young hijabi girl named Samiyah while using the self-checkout. I have to admit that the self-checkout machines can be very confusing and frustrating for me at times, but she was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding throughout the entire process. She took the time to help me figure everything out without ever making me feel rushed or uncomfortable. At one point, she even offered to run and grab something for me so that I wouldn’t have to struggle with finding it myself. Once everything was finally taken care of, she made sure I was all set before sending me on my way. She wished me a nice day with such a positive and pleasant attitude. It may seem like a small interaction, but experiences like this truly make a difference. Samiyah was an absolute pleasure to interact with. She was respectful and patient and genuinely kind from beginning to end. I just wanted to take a moment to recognize her and let her know that her kindness did not go unnoticed. ShopRite should be proud to have someone like her representing the store. She truly made what could have been a frustrating experience into a positive one, and I am very grateful for her help today.
