“I moved to Sayreville from NYC a few months ago. Tried a couple of halal spots in the area and they just weren’t that good. I passed by Robins, a convenience store that happened to sell halal food in the back. Great decision because this food was a lot better than I expected. The portions are a good size. I got a chicken platter with rice and french fries which was delicious. I love spicy food so my only recommendation would be to give the hot sauce a little bit more kick but other than that I’m completely satisfied and will definitely be returning.

“Total Wine is amazing! Especially if you just want to buy cheap wine for cooking. And the Soju 소 주 is way better, in price, if you are buying it to drink or for medicinal purposes, even if the alcohol volume is 13.8%. At least you won’t get a headache. It used to be called Akju 약 주. In any case, they just have a huge selection of anything you can think of: Lemoncello, Ouzo, whisky, wine…”

“This shop is small and tidy with a small, well-provisioned, well-organized humidor. It also has a cozy lounge complete with couches and a TV. The employee on staff was friendly and helpful while I was browsing the humidor. The prices are comparable to Staten Island's other cigar shops and (once you factor in shipping costs) comparable to websites like Cigar International. Even if the prices were a bit higher than online, it's important to support local small business. If you're in the neighborhood, pop in and check them out.”
