As someone who deeply appreciates vintage designer wears, I couldn’t have been more blown away by the curation of incredible sunglasses and glasses. I customized a pair of 90s Tiffany gold frames by swapping the clear glasses lenses for brown sunglasses lenses, which took maybe 5 minutes total. I am absolutely in love with them and in awe that the could do something like on-site and so quickly. The patience, knowledge and kindness of both the owner and Zay were icing on top- I can’t wait to visit next time I’m in town and send all my friends by in the meantime! :)”
“I bought a beautiful MCM dresser. It was refinished beautifully and delivered with care. There was one small problem with a drawer divider and Toby took care of it immediately and without question. After visiting various other furniture stores in the area not finding anything that exactly matched what we were looking for, Kensington not only had it, but gave us fabric choices right down to the throw pillows as well! Their design consultant Brenda was not only knowledgeable but was very patient answering all my wife and I multitude of questions. We have never ordered custom furniture and normally settled with what was available on showroom floors, but Kensington made believers out of us by showed us that you can find the furniture you like and even tweak it into exactly what is needed! “VERY organized! I would personally go on a day where there is a sale ( or bring a donation and receive 20% off your next purchase!). A fitting room would make this place the top tier of thrifting but I know a lot of thrifts stores don’t have one these days. Found some great finds here and will definitely be back!”
“I'm really surprised the ratings of this place are 3 stars! I spent all day popping in and out of thrift stores around Society Hill and Old City areas. Didn't find anything i liked, and a lot of places were overpriced. I came in here and found SO much stuff I loved, their buyers are doing a fantastic job. Their pricing is pretty fair imo. Seems like they have a tier system, most items were about $20, some $14 if i remember correctly, and then some more expensive street wear. The only complaint I have is that trying on anything is extremely stressful as they only have 1 dressing room. I had to keep coming out to let others in line use the room, and people were knocking on the door (I tried things on as fast as possible). Still looking forward to coming back though.”

Like any thrift/consignment, what you find is somewhat based on luck, but I’ve found some really unique pieces for good prices! I’d say they do a pretty good job of making sure items are broken before buying them, but always check carefully.”

This store is a little pricey but the pieces they have are really nice so it’s hard to complain about it. It’s like shopping in a mall store but it’s secondhand so it’s just better overall.”

“This is a decent Goodwill with a nice variety of merchandise, but it is on the smaller side. However, it is dense making treasure hunting fun. The staff seems nice and courteous. It's well organized and clean for a Goodwill too.”
