“This is one of my favorite stores of all time so on a personal note I'm in a good mood when I walk in here to begin with. Think of Harbor Freight as the "affordable alternative" to that Depot chain some are familiar with. The deals that they have at this store never cease to amaze me and I find that I rarely can walk out of the store without purchasing something that I may or may not even need because I just don't have it. Can you get things here that you can get at other stores? Absolutely. Are you going to be these prices? A snowball's chance in hell is greater than you finding a better deal somewhere else. This, you can take to the BANK, and considering all the savings, you actually WILL!”

Just went to Harbor Freight in Deptford again to pick up a propane heater. After browsing the entire store looking for the heater, I made my way toward the cashier and there in front of the registers was a pile of different heaters including the one I was looking for. Dumb me it us winter season WHT wouldn't they have thr heaters up front? Why I didn't look there 1st is beyond me. Brain fart..lol. in and out in 10 mins including walking through the entire store. I live this place wish there was one closer to me.”

“I do maintenance around the block. This is the Best neighborhood hardware store. Very reasonable prices, great service. I can find here almost anything I need. Saves me a lot of trips to Home Depot.”
“Fairmount Hardware is a neighborhood institution, with good reason. Dave, the owner, goes out of his way to help non-professionals with their projects, large and small. He wired a lamp for me, he also cut glass to put in a frame I had, saving me the expense of having a framer do it.
I think he tries to impart to the young people he hires to work in the hardware store as much of his wisdom as possible. Yesterday, he instructed a young trainee as to how to remove a bit of rust on a porcelain plaque I brought in.
Today, another trainee made a great suggestion as to how I might attach the plaque to a Target basket with wingbolt nuts and butterfly screws, rather than the furniture nails I’d bought the day before.
The clerk at the cash register gave me a credit for the unused furniture nails I had bought the day before and deducted the cost of the two wingbolt nut and screws —you cannot get better service than that anywhere.

He spent a goodly amount of time on Saturday trying to figure out how to fix a broken soap dispenser (purchased elsewhere) we had brought in. “Great Rental Service. I rented two machines from Diamond Tool- A 60 foot boom lift then later a 32 ft scissor lift. Both machines worked great and got the job done safely and efficiently. No hidden fees and the sales staff are very friendly and reasonable. Pick Diamond Tool over the other big chain rental companies! I worked with Rob and the salesman CJ and they were great!”
