“I've been going to the deli stop about once to twice a week for the last year and a half and every single time I go in it's a positive peaceful environment. It has some items that I don't see in any other convenience that I come just to get. The food is simply delicious and filling and I think I get a chicken quesadilla at least once a week. I double salsa the order. In my book the deli stop is exactly the kind of store that I need near me and I think everyone else should have one too.”

“The best hoagies joint in the area. My husband and I often get hoagies from T&F as it is much closer and their hoagies are very good. But when it comes to quality of meats, Haggerty is the best. I had Hagerty's BLT also and it was great.The owner is a very nice young man and it feels good to patronize a local mom and pop shop”

“This place is my to go to place to get empanadas and the Yuca fries. I love their yuca fries and their empanadas. Beef empanadas is my fave. They have chicken, beef and ham and cheese. The people who work there very nice people. Nice supermarket, nice atmosphere, nice people, good food. Also, I can park my bike outside too.”

When my fob for my Mustang decided to up & die just as Rick was closing up, he stayed & helped. I’m no wallflower but it made me feel much safer & I doubt many other store owners would punch out, lock up & would be willing to be stuck w/ some batty broad unable to drive off from the parking lot. “I have known the owners since I was a kid. They have always served greag quality food. The staff is friendly and provide excellent service. I consider this place one of the best bodegas to get a good tasting cheesesteak in Camden. I recommend the chuleta platter with tostones. Make sure to ask for extra mayo ketchup ? . They have everything from penzarotti balls to club sandwiches. I specially love their cheese fries always fresh, crispy outside and soft and hot inside.”

“This place sells everything. Household items, various groceries such as instant coffee, cereal and bread. I come here for the hot and cold foods. They make great hoagies. The bread is soft and chewy, just how I like it. I always order the Turkey ham with everything (forgot to take a picture ugh!). They don't skimp on anything with the hoagies. We also grabbed two cheesesteak hoagies (completely forgot to add pickles and hot peppers) but it was still good. My daughter loved her chicken tenders but she's not a reliable source . I did not taste the chicken tenders so I can't give it a fair review. I rated this place 4 stars (more like 3.5) because they could give more steak. Although the flavors were there, there just wasn't enough meat.”

“LOVE THIS PLACE! The whole family are so nice, courteous and helpful. The store is spotlessly clean. They ask for and take your suggestions (what cigar you smoke, we'll order it for you. how would you like that made). The food is cooked fresh and I must say they have the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've ever had. Bagel selection is vast and fresh with a nice selection of cream cheese prepared how you like it. I have only had breakfast here so far, but if I'm around there for lunch and dinner, I'll be trying something else for sure. I've befriended Bart as we are now on a name to name basis now. But honestly, everyone there is great and they are just as great to every customer I've see in there. Can't wait to start using their app to preorder. ?”

“I love South Deli. I've been going to them for awhile. It's the only place in Center City that sells Dominican/Puerto Rican food. Food that my Puerto Rican mom use to make. My favorite is the pernil, of course. But the rice with beef stew is delicious too. I have to bring home the tostones and pastelillos to my son and husband. That is their favorite. “5 stars because I love the owners and the idea of heritages. But this store has 2 people in the morning that are rude and the sausage egg and cheese sandwich when ordered was like Styrofoam. 1st time the egg was like a rock. 2nd time egg was like Styrofoam. Not sure of the process but seems pretty basic to me. Pre- made are great. Ordered have been terrible. This while the cashier and cook talk about not getting each other started because they have to do thier job. Not the experience this newly refurbished store deserves.”
