“I had read the positive reviews and was still pleasantly surprised! I had a spacious two queen bedroom for three adults and we had plenty of room to move around without bumping into one another, plus there was plenty of suitcase parking. The lamps were adjustable so I could move the light to the book I was reading.All the desk employees were super helpful and nice and I enjoyed the gift shop, which had nice souvenirs and even dog treats. The bath towels were huge and fluffy! I really had to fight the temptation to purchase any since I already have plenty. I didn't have pets with me but would love to go back, dogs in tow. Breakfast options were good and included.I especially enjoyed all the lovely artwork. Highly recommend.”

“We came in super late (2am), at first they put me on the first floor, next to the end. But, with 2 small kids, it made me nervous, so they were able to move me to another room with no issues.The rooms were clean, breakfast was decent (free).”

“The only trustworthy no nonsense motel in town. Good rooms. Friendly service. My dog and I have always felt welcome. No hidden fees or charges. No haggling over my deposit. Id recommend over any other motel in town.”
“Such a cute little place! Very basic motel, but well-kept and a very clean breakfast area. The owner (assuming, but the person checking us in anyway), was very friendly and sweet. I think we were the only people staying that night during the off-season.Best part was that they had sleds to borrow! I didn't know sledding was a thing at White Sands, but they had a prominent note at check-in. Though sand sledding does not beat snow sledding, I was so glad we had them, or I might have been tempted to get one at the Park shop for $25!It can be hit or miss when you try to avoid chain hotels, but this one is hit! Stay here for a simple and cute experience.”
