“A lovely gallery with a wonderful selection of art and jewelry. I visit whenever I’m in Albuquerque and often order from afar. My most recent purchase was a bracelet that continues to delight me. The whole hotel visit is a treat.”
“This was such a fun and beautiful experience! It was like build a bear for adults/plant people. There were so many fun things to choose from and the experience was awesome all around.”
“One of the more unique stores in ABQ. Here you can find anything authentically Mexican. From the masks to the local artwork. You can find almost anything culturally Mexican. Come and visit!”
“Expertly executed framing of two collector’s sheets of US currency. One sheet was given as a birthday gift. It is absolutely stunning. The other framed piece is for me to enjoy. I recommend High Desert with the highest rating possible for two magnificently framed pieces of art.”
“Patti is charming, talented and a true asset to design. Her eye for detail is stunning! I love to browse her shop for unique pieces of art, housewares, accessories or just a much-needed lip balm.”
“We took two items in for restoration, A minimal, and a major. It does take time but we were amazed at the results of both restorations. The minimal was perfect, the major was very good, much better than we expected, although it was not possible to get it perfect. The damage we were trying to repair was too great. The restorations were both cleaning types, not attempts to restore color or line work.”
“Possibly the best art gallery in town! Not just Old Town! I love the curated collections they choose to exhibit, and I've even bought one painting called "El Pescado" by Rachel Tapia recently. You could also buy different flavors of sparkling water, candles, soap, cards, and more! Run, don't walk, to visit a staple of Albuquerque! It's also connected to Noisy Water Winery. If you get wine, you can bring it into the gallery!”
“Amazing and well-curated selection of Dia de los Muertos artwork by award-winning local artists, plus select Mexican imports. This is my go-to gallery for expanding my collection.”

“A very nice customer friendly atmosphere, specializing in Authentic Native American art and jewelry located in Albuquerque NM. Highly recommended by nativejewelerssociety.com and the Council for Indigenous Arts and Culture Inc.”
“I loved this place, they always worked with me on price when I was purchasing multiply pieces. I get lots of compliments on my pieces that I have referred numerous folks to them. I didn't give them 5 stars because on Google and on the gate it states they are open on Mondays until 3pm, I took off from work early so I could get there before they closed and they weren't open. I called the number numerous times but I couldn't leave a message because the mailbox was full. You need to update your information.”
“This is really a store than an art gallery. The owner, David, sells his own artworks as well, but you may find souvenirs and Native American art here. Depends on what you’re buying, I’d say the stuff we got here are fairly priced.”
“One of the coolest concepts around. Learn art, play and make whatever your heart desires. Very talented people, super nice and helpful staff. Please donate supplies every chance u get. The place relies on donations and puts them to great use. This is an awesome resource to better our community and keep our kids off of the streets. Support this place at all costs. They are fantastic!”

“Art Walk @OT Circus, was excellent. Like 30 vendors, live painting and a band. And a gallery opening. All chill. All peace. Folks have a lot of respect for Victoria. And for the opportunities that she makes available. Lots good face ² face conversation too. Very nice.”

“Absolutely one of the best galleries in old town. Huge variety of high quality artists of all different mediums, very friendly helpful staff and overall just a cool space to explore”
“This is an excellent community art space/gallery/shop in the heart of Albuquerque. It's located in an historic building that appears to have been a house before becoming an art space. The gallery showcases local artists in rotating community art exhibitions. There are occasionally local events and happenings at this location as well. Recommended!!!”
“Great place for local art! This shop is not huge but it is packed with beautiful original artwork and the artists man the shop so there is always someone with experience to speak with. Nice variety of fused glass and paintings and more. I have purchased multiple pieces here and love them all!”
“A lovely and intimate gallery space. I highly recommend checking it out. And Brianne is extremely knowledgable on all the pieces and artists displayed, which is fantastic.”
“The Garden is a creative event space that is building community; it's a true gem in Albuquerque that has fantastic art workshops and gatherings. If you want to dive deeper into the arts without the pretension, look no further. Follow the Instagram to get the details on upcoming events!”
“I scored a beautiful handwoven indigo wool rug. It feels wonderful under my feet. A LOT of items to choose from in the shop. Wonderful people. Such a fun shopping experience!”
“I was searching for more pieces from an artist named David Pritchard. I found one of my favorites in a gallery in Jerome and decided it’s time for more. I landed on Mariposa gallery and Liz was so gracious and helpful in helping me to choose the cuff I was wanting. She went above and beyond. Thank you for adding this fun and treasured cuff to my minimal jewelry collection from this amazing artisan. If ever in ABQ will definitely stop by in person.”
“We purchased a shirt here. The guy behind the counter was helpful and suggested what has become one of my favorite souvenir shirts. Thanks guy-behind-the-counter! :-)”
“Amazing work done here. Everything from a simple photo to a 3D object. They can mount a jersey anyway you want it and even put LEDs in it. Everything is done with great care and done with precision. Frames are made in house and joined perfectly. I would highly recommend them for your next framing need.”
