Went to the Fiesta in last two years after they opened since the pandemic. Very impressive and grandeur. The temperature is low in early morning. I did not wear enough clothing and had to move around all the time keep warm. Taking the shuttle is definitely a better option than driving directly to the Fiesta due to limited parking spaces at the park.

This is amazing!!!Don’t drive though, take the Park and Ride you’ll be in and out in 15 minutes. People who drive are insane. It will take hours to get in.Once there expect State Fair pricing. It’s not about the money people. They let you bring your own food to picnic if you want but food will cos$$$t!It’s soooo worth it though. To stand under those balloons and watch them ascend. It’s breathtaking. Is it cold? This is Albuquerque people, of course it’s cold in October. We’re a mile above sea level. Layer up!And the wind may keep the balloons on the ground. Life happens.Don’t let the haters deter you with their toilet paper story or their traffic issues. It’s the only Balloon experience this close to home.

For an event that is celebrating it's 50th anniversary the organization and logistics seemed too chaotic. To be fair, this probably falls more on the Civic agencies/organizations handling of traffic, parking and other support services. And there's also the part that weather plays, since the ballonist are at the mercy of the weather. We drove to the Fiesta grounds 3 times over the weekend and each time we were instructed to use a different route.Once inside, the atmosphere reminded me of a small county fair, although one limited in scope. Probably the best feature of the Balloon Fiesta was your ability to walk around the grounds where the Balloon crews had setup preparing to get the Balloons ready to inflated and the friendliness of the crew and their willingness, eagerness actually, to answer questions and educate their audience about the sport they obviously love.

Attended this year's Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta (50th) and it did not disappoint. Thankfully the weather cooperated the day we went. The skies were filled with balloons of all shapes and sizes.Be patient and always remember that the weather can be a factor and can result in delays or cancelations.

We loved the experience of being at the 50th event. Even though we were to ride in a balloon but due to the weather were unable we would try again perhaps at a different time of the year. Everyone should experience the more than 600 balloons ? ?

Go 90 mins early in the morning and you'll be good, but lots of walking and standing. Courtesy shuttle golf carts can help, but so hard to find one available. What they really need is a place to refill water bottles for people.

It’s very fun, the food is very very very expensive and I’d suggest going and getting something outside of the park but other than that it’s great
