Yesterday I was at the Goodwill in Paseo del Norte. A young lady, Mariah, served me very kindly and generously. I asked her to show me some bags. She was very attentive and opened the door, letting me see her. She had a very good and friendly character. I wish there were more people like her in other stores.

I would have given a four-star rating EXCEPT for because of Luke and Mariah! The four-stars were because the computers were down so the store was doing cash only, which was stressful cause I didn’t know how much cash I had on me, and it’s also not the first time I’ve experience that with this store.
BUUUT five stars because in the midst of that challenge Luke and Mariah were all stars. Luke was really empathetic with the customers and showed a lot of understanding with our experience, and communicated with us in a very respectful way, while simultaneously trying to get the problem fixed and navigating other issues that came up because of the computers being down. And he went LITERALLY ABOVE AND BEYOND - I was a few cents short in cash of the total I needed and he literally took his “lucky $2 bill” out of his wallet to cover for me. I could cry. That was just so beyond kind to me.
In the meantime Mariah was remaining super calm handling the cash register and needing to count everything up manually. She also was very empathetic and kind as she spoke with us customers, showing understanding with our perspective. AND she didn’t want Luke to have to spend his lucky $2 bill, so after he gave it to her, she took two dollars out of HER wallet to replace his and gave him back his lucky bill.
I mean this was a few weeks ago and I’m just now able to write the review and I could still cry. They were so kind and did their jobs professionally, in an empathetic and calm way, even under the heat of pressure.
FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY FOR LUKE AND MARIAH!

Stacey is such a blessing the manager and the cashier was super helpful too i had a return that were some presents for my mom that sadly past a week earlier that week and she was so nice about it bless her heart so much hopefully the higher ups see this and talk to her because I went to another goodwill and they were super rude to me which really hurt like I was stealing or something

I usually love my experience at this location, but today this very nice girl was checking me out and the computer glitched. She called Roger over, and he proceeded to try to figure it out. While he was troubleshooting, he determined that she would have to re- enter all of my stuff. She kindly suggested maybe re-booting because that was what she was trained to do. He told her to please shut up. !!! It was so rude when she was just trying to be helpful and not make me wait so long. She said “Please don’t talk to me like that in front of the customer” which I wholeheartedly agreed with. His response?? “Please be quiet, I said please” On what planet is it ok to be rude and disrespectful to someone in front of a customer just because you said “Please”!!! This poor girl walked away upset, and Roger proceeded to leave me standing there with all my stuff on the counter!! He wound up opening another register and if it wasn’t for a nice man in line for a different register, I would still be standing there!!!! To that sweet girl: thanks for being helpful, for standing up for yourself politely, and genuinely being awesome. To Roger: You suck!!!! Take some management course in how to treat people.

They charge way too much. I saw a small hand sizes stuffed animal I wanted for my dog, they wanted four dollars and some cents for it. Saw a medium sized crocheted blanket that I liked they wanted six dollars in something for it, that's ridiculous. I bought nothing and.
from now on, I will not shop a goodwill.

I’ve been to almost every Goodwill in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas and this one is the most expensive one.

I used to shop quite often at Goodwill, however, what is going on with prices? It's worse than shopping at a retail store for some items. I also will stop donating to Goodwill for that reason.

Check your electronics! I bought what I thought was a Bluetooth Sony soundbar. When I opened the box it was a Panasonic home theater stereo. What makes things worse is that when I asked the manager for a discount for how poorly the condition the box was he had zero interest in lowering the price. Items way too overpriced here.

Great prices last year 😄 gone up a bit, but if you seek you shall find. Stephanie was really Great, I had an altercation with a shelf, she was so professional and didn't blame me. Will return just to see her. Keep up the good work 😀

Always find what I'm looking for here. Great prices, nice selection and I was lucky enough to go when they were having a half off red tag sale and saved about $15!!
Got some really nice jeans and cute shirts for a fraction of what I would have paid at Walmart or even savers. Highly recommend this store and will keep going back. Thank You Goodwill keep up the great work!!

Customer service was not stellar. There’s no fitting rooms so you have to buy whatever you’re interested in, take it home, and then take back whatever doesn’t fit. Not a fan of that…very inconvenient. Will not be returning to this location.
