“First time I've ever used Penske's. Usually use Uhaul. There is no comparison between the two- Penske's is the best, bar none. The trailer doesn't have all the humps that take up space. Just a nice flat bed. Even has a dome light, so the trailer lights up beautifully. Last time I drove a Uhaul, I had a blowout on the interstate! And I mean massive a blowout. Penske tires were almost new. Bye Bye Uhaul. I'm a Penske gal from now on.”

I was traveling from Dallas to Durango, CO, carrying a full load of wedding florals when the reefer unit on my truck shut down and was no longer cooling the cargo box. Brenda and Vince from the office, and Ray, the mechanic and technician certainly proved to be a great team and genuinely take care of me. They recognized the importance of needing to keep my cargo well preserved, and immediately sought out to resolve the problem and get me back on the road on the road in a few short hours. All three having a great attitude throughout the process.”
“First time renting with enterprise and I couldn't have thanked Cristian more than enough with his customer service. Before our rental he gave us a call informing that the rental time pick up would be later than we needed and he worked with us on price adjustments for that delay. My partner and I under estimated how long we would need the truck for and called Enterprise to let them know and Cristian was also very very flexible with the issues we ran into and honestly it was scary as being first time renters with Enterprise but Cristian helped in ways that I couldn't be more thankful. He has such good work equity and I would highly recommend renting with him. I'm definitely coming back as he made us feel secure with our rental and he explains everything very well”

“Alejandra was great to work with and very helpful in reservations, setup and pickup. She also fixed a mileage issue with the end of trip office. Yea Alejandra! I rented a 26' truck and drove 1000 miles in it. The truck had an alignment problem. Let's just say I never veered into opposing traffic. The cab dome light didn't work either. Note that the other major truck rental company counts the 26' from their overhead bin area. So it's not a full 26'. Budget's truck is the full 26'. Easy to drive but understandably sluggish up hills when fully loaded. .”

“I'd like to express how grateful I am for Dave at Brakes Unlimited. He was so kind and understanding when my daughter needed someone with not only old car experience but Dad experience.
My UNM student daughter took her 1999 corolla to a Jiffy Lube for an oil change and they up sold her a brake fluid flush. She started having issues very soon after that. She even took it back to Jiffy Lube (different location) and they said it was fine but was low on the brake fluid. They topped her off and she went on her way, still having issues.
Then a few days later while driving to work, she came to an intersection and could not stop her car. By the grace of God she was able to swerve in the next lane and pull the Emergency brake. There was a Pep boys at this intersection and she pulled the car in there. They gave her an inspection and an estimate but they couldn't find the part they needed to repair what they said was damaged.
I live in California and I am trying to deal with this situation and my daughter who now thinks her car is dead forever from all the way over here and I have zero knowledge of any businesses in Albquerque. So I do a quick Google search and Brakes Unlimited pops up. I don't even know where it's located in relation to the Pep Boys the car is at. But what I see on the search is, 25+ years experience and lots of good reviews. I called and spoke to Dave and he told me to have the car towed into his shop and he would do his best to figure out what can be done. He gave me piece of mind as well because he understood the parental heartache of not being physically there to help guide your child.
Dave looked at the car and put it though all the tests and what he found was that, Jiffy Lube had closed the bleeder valve but had not tightened it and the second Jiffy Lube didn't catch either. Why Pep Boys didn't see it and said the entire hard line had to be replaced, we will never know. Dave could have gone off of what had already been diagnosed and charged us for it and we would never have known. But he didn't. He is truly an honest man with stand up morals.
Brakes Unlimited doesn't just do brakes either! They do lots of other work too. Even though the shop is completely across town from the UNM campus, my daughter will be taking her car to Dave at Brakes Unlimited for anything it ever needs. She is going to drive that '99 until the wheels fall off! Thank you Dave.”
