Hours: The Norbertine Spirituality Center at Santa María de la Vid Abbey extends hospitality to those desiring a peaceful retreat environment in the beautiful high desert of New Mexico. Our comfortable overnight and meeting spaces are available for individuals and groups to be on retreat at the abbey. The Norbertine Abbey is a group of priests and brothers living in community. To the public we offer daily Roman Catholic Mass, a theological library, and Liturgy of the Hours four times per day. The Norbertine Library is open to the public as a space in which a shared search for wisdom by persons of different faiths and traditions can be pursued in peace. With over 20,000 volumes, it is the largest theological library in the state of new Mexico.
