βAll the people who have given bad reviews follow the same pattern, they didnt walk around in the store for a while to test out the shoe and they didnt get properly helped by an associate. And if your shoe breaks, go to a shoe repair shop before you buy a new pair of shoes.
The only reason why I come here and spend hundreds of dollars on a single pair of shoes- is that I'm an adult, with a size 4 foot. I have tiny child size feet. There are children with bigger feet than I have! The dress shoes that they make for children are uncomfortable AF. If I ever need to dress up for some reason, I need to have at least one nice pair of shoes. And these shoes that they sell here are built to last. My very first pair of shoes I bought from them, lasted me 20 years. They would have lasted longer if I knew how to clean and care for leather properly. During their lifetime I took them to a shoe repair shop twice, once because the elastic that the buckle was attached to was worn out and frayed and the second time was because the leather on the other side of the ankle was tearing. They replaced the buckle and the elastic and they reinforced the ankle and sewed it. The repair cost was less than $20 for a $90 pair of shoes.
I currently owned another pair in a different color. There is currently nothing wrong with them.
I'm thinking about getting a black pair in a different style.
These shoes are the best quality and well worth it. Why pay $40-100 on the fancy pair of shoes somewhere else that will last you a year or two and probably be uncomfortable, when you can pay $100-200 on a COMFORTABLE pair of shoes that will last you about 20 years or longer if you take care of them? For a budget conscience woman, you just get one cream or tan color pair for your light colored clothes and then a black pair for your dark colored clothes. A lot of people don't wear a dress shoes everyday, they usually wear sneakers or something which you can get at Skechers for cheaper. So, two pairs of dress shoes from SAS will last you most of your adult life. If they start to wear out, look for a shoe repair shop and they will fix your shoes real nice which will make them last longer. By the time you have to replace them, you'll be old and not be expected to dress up as much, so the next pair of shoes you buy will last the rest of your life.
With how often you have to replace other pairs of shoes from other retailers, you're easily spending way more money on having to replace shoes for the lifetimes of one pair of SAS shoes.
Evidently theres a lot of morons in the reviews that dont understand to try it on before you buy it. Measure your feet! They have foot measuring thinys there. ASK FOR HELP! They have knowledgeable people there who will examine your feet and help you find something that will work for you. If youre old with mobility issues, then they will find something to work for you. If there is literally nothing in the store in your size that you have to special order something, but somehow it doesn't work for some reason- here's a neat idea, either leave the shoes there and request a chargeback from your bank, OR get a gift card so that it doesn't expire and use it to buy something else.
If you don't ask an associate to help you make sure that you get the right shoe- then it's your fault if you don't try it on in the store and you go home to test it out.
I 90% agree with the no return policy that they have. These shoes are such a high quality and the fact that they use real leather, they can't resell these shoes cuz who knows what kind of nasty you have on your feet. That's why they make you wear one of those socks in the store. Once you leave the store they have no idea if your bare feet touched the shoe. Believe it or not, other shoe stores like Skechers or shoe rack or whatever have the same "no returns" policy. They might let you do an exchange if there is no dirt on the bottom of the sβ

βWent in to go get feet looked at due to having knee problems for the longest time. I used their test orthotic and felt relief instantly. The pricing is very reasonable. Do yourself a favor and come here before going and looking at more expensive options. The orthotic I got can be used in almost any shoe.β

βStaff was very helpful to my needs. She listened to what I wanted and helped me make the right choice. I came in for new insoles and left with a new pair of shoes and insoles.My only concern was the availability of a popular size insole. This was not the associates fault. The insole I needed was not in stock. I received a call that my order was in. I later went to pick it up and while I was there, another customer was buying shoes and needed the same insole. They would have had to order it for him. He lives quite a ways out of town so, I told them to give him mine and order me another as I live close.Might want to check you inventory and keep more of the fast movers in stock.β

βI bought a pair of shoes that the glue was coming off of them, I hadn't even gotten a chance to wear them yet. They did an even exchange which is what I wanted cause I β€οΈ the shoes!
