“This is one of the coolest comic shops in town! They are very friendly and they have a very good selection, but there are times we can’t find what we’re looking for. One very minor complaint that I have is that they have a silly Covid rule where they don’t want you to touch the comics unless you’re certain about buying them, but maybe it could just be that they’ve never bothered to take those notes down, but all in all, this is one of the best comic stores in Albuquerque and I love how cool they make it inside during the summer.”

“I finally went to this amazing retro and current toy store. I went to sell some childhood toys not expecting them to buy any of them. They were more than fair for what I received in return. This is a great place to buy old toys, new toys, Legos, pops and the in between. Also go to their toy con!”

“Stellar Puzzle Shopping Experience in ABQ, NM!We visited your shop, “Puzzled in Old Town ABQ”, and we were curious about the wooden puzzles. Jackson's sincere respect for this product and subtle approach with customers soon won us over. We purchased the 'Nervous System Infinite Galaxy 2 intending to offer it to our children & grandchildren, as a mental exercise, for when they come to visit.During our son’s visit, we were all challenged and impressed by the materials, the laser tight fit of each piece, and the creativity of the inventors of this puzzle. The two-sided design with irregular borders is fascinating.Even though we live out of State, your online shopping link gave us the ability to contact you and order the Earth Infinity Puzzle. You mailed it to us the same day as our request was posted! As puzzle enthusiasts, both Infinity puzzles are expected to be future heirlooms.Have these puzzles changed our perspective concerning puzzles? Yes! Difficult challenges bring increased satisfaction when each piece snaps into place. Very satisfying indeed.Thank you for expanding our puzzle experiences and kudos to you for your exceptional customer service both in store and online!”

“Great selection of comics and graphic novels. Fair prices and a 10% off if you order from them. Nice and helpful staff. My only issue is that it can feel really cramped inside, but that's just me.”

“Been selling my manga and anime here for years since I’m constantly having to make room for my figure collection and love supporting local businesses but I just wish the in cash value was more than 25 percent especially when I saw a figure I sold and got $20 being sold the next week for $154 others than that good selection and nice staff”

“I think I might’ve found my new favorite comic store! They have a much better selection of comics, pops, and toys than most other comic shops in town and the employees are very nice! This is definitely a great place to go if you love the sweet aroma of comics! We will definitely stop by there again if we’re ever back in that part of town. This place is definitely worth the drive!”

“This space hosts the Albuquerque Game Developers Guild meetings every Tuesday night and meets our needs perfectly. Albuquerque can sometimes seem behind the times or bogged down by political or economic issues, but being here feels like you're living in a flourishing, modern city. (Which we are--I'm just a bit cynical.) I wish I lived downtown so the drive wouldn't be so far, but it's always worth it!”

“I love this bookstore. You can usually find something you're interested in reading, and they have a music section upstairs to cater to your listening wants/needs. The only reason the rating is less than 5 stars ? is the cashier at the Starbucks inside Barns and Nobel was rude to my sister. You can say you don't take Starbucks gift cards and don't accept the Starbucks points without the attitude. The coffee wasn't great either. ?”

“Lakeshore is definitely my toddlers and my favorite place to go if we out in the search for educational toys and educational poster boards. They have plenty of selections for parents and educators in the classroom setting. They also offer to laminate posters at the store. They have have restrooms if you need to use it. They also have a points program and they sent you discounts on your email. Throughout the years for various seasons and holidays they have so many discounts. Customer service is great and they willing to help you. The place in general is clean and kept tidy. The staff encourages kids to explore and to play with the display toys which is very attracting to parents whose kids are sensory intuitive. Highly recommend this place for your money and for the value of the items they sell.”

“Fun store, lot of different products at reasonable prices, friendly staff, nicely laid out. There are rows and rows of fun products (I can't really categorize the store, you have to go there and see for yourself what they have because they have so many different things) in clean well lit rows that are nicely arranged.Do give them a try, there is a surprising variety of products that makes it fun to check out all the aisles.”

“As it's in the mall, it's obviously got a smaller selection of miscellaneous merchandise because it's not its own building, but it isn't lacking in games for the main consoles.”

“I feel blessed to have a Lego store here in Albuquerque. I most appreciate the build a minifig table. $5 for one or $13 for three. Nice and quiet and pleasant(if quirky) conversation. Very therapeutic.”

“I absolutely adore this store. They have the coolest pops that I have seen. They may be a little overpriced from time to time, but It's only because the store is owned by a private collector I believe and they pay for the items themselves. My partner has gotten several decent Hot Wheels for his collection here too.”

“This GameStop is the only one I’ve been to that the staff don’t hound you asking you if you need something but if you ask them they are very helpful. I won’t shop at any other ganestop”

“For the past couple of years they've not opened this location, only Coronado Center which pales in comparison. The kiosk here was always incredible with amazing selection of wall, small and desk calendars but also games and other merchandise. I always purchased a couple hundred dollars of calendars and always walked away with games and other merchandise is not even gone there for. I miss this kiosk. Please come back next year.”

“Ordered a new copy of borderlands 3 from this location. When I got it, it ended up being a used copy. I personally did not care if it was used or not as long as the code was good for the add on content. The manager that was on duty when I called about this was very helpful and made sure that I was taken care of, he even explained how to put the add on content on my xbox.”

“Took my almost 2 year old there for a haircut because he doesn't let anyone touch his head and had a bad experience the last time he got his hair cut. But at shear madness there was lots of fun stuff to keep him happy and distracted he even let the dresser use clippers on him! When he did get upset a couple times they were patient with him and quickly got him back to being happy to finish the haircut in a good amount of time!”

“I remember a time when you had to go to either a flea market, go across town to a specialty shop, or shop online to get art, novelties, T-shirts, and unique merchandise with your favorite anime, movies, music artists, and gaming characters. This place has it all! They have an amazing array of figurines, art, anime merch, Pops, T-shirts, posters, even swords, and knives! Oh yeah this place is awesome! I can't begin to tell how low large of selection they have. They even offer various imported items. It's easy to get wrapped up in there because there's a little something for everyone. The wall art is amazing and fair priced. Whether your a true Anime lover, Bob Marley fan, or even just an art fan you'll find something for you there. There are a lot of signs that say "Do Not Touch, Ask for assistance" signs around and it's a little off putting but it makes sense because they have a lot of unique items. If your at cottonwood mall check them out! They are a few stores down from the Dillard's next to Africa Way.”
