Expensive. If you lose key to unit, you have to hire a locksmith. You cannot remove your own lock. Many penalties. Otherwise convenient and safe.

Do not ever use this dealer. They require a major credit card for a pick up truck or a cargo van but they don't tell you this when you make the reservation, not do they offer an alternative. By the time I got here for my reservation all the other trucks at other locations were reserved already. I've rented here before and never will again.

In our experience with this compsny is; they use to be goid to us. But now though we paid them what we owed them for our rental truck, and gas we used . They now insist we still owe and therefore try to take money from off our bank card. We feel they are surly in the wrong. And if they presist we will file fraud against U HAUL. for negligence and fraud. We have recipts reflectibg this and there was no toles because we had none. So if you plan on doing business with them?? Be very carful. To not let them fraud your bank card or credit cards.

I had a bad experience here.I rented a truck which took at least 15 mins for the desk person to help me ,then my bill went from 25 dollars to 48 dollars and they still seem to think I owe them more money after I brought the truck back with the right amount of gas! Ridiculous!Never rent here,weird hidden charges!

The car I was towing with a U-Haul from Texas to Idaho got broken into overnight in Abq. I needed some quick help to get the car off the trailer so I could have the window fixed and get back on the road. First I called another place, the U-Haul Moving & Storage at Eubank, and they told me they wouldn't help for some complicated reason (which really means they just didn't feel like dealing with it). I called Leonard Tire and they said sure. Took them 2-3 minutes to get the car off the trailer for me, and they let me leave the whole rig there while I got my window fixed. They also looked into my insurance and let me know that I actually had coverage for the damage to the window. They were very helpful during a hectic time.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS UHAUL!!! I had a trailer hitch installed a couple years ago and due to my own ignorance and lack of experience and attentiveness they installed a used light controller. I noticed a week or so later that it looked a little worn but I did not return to verify that I received new parts. The controller failed in less than 2 years and I had to have it replaced at a cost of $80. When I calmly mentioned that I believed I had a used controller installed the store manager reacted much more aggressively than I would have expected defending the store stating that they never install used parts. I found this peculiar since this person had no idea who I was and probably was not even involved with the store two years ago. That made me immediately believe the just the opposite was true. I suspect either a worker ripped me off and possibly management had a hand in the deal. If they find a novice like myself they can easily put some extra dollars in the coffer by installing used parts if the novice does not speak up. Needless to say I felt stupid but I believe that this merchant is a not reputable and is one that you want to avoid doing business with. I had to give this review ONE star because you cannot give ZERO.
