“wow! this place is like walking into a movie set dressing room. Hats that the “Rat Pack“ could have worn. Dresses that any hippie lady would have been proud to wear. My son & friend were visiting from Dallas. They asked about buying some cool vintage clothing.I knew thrift stores were a good option, but extremely random. The two highest rated shops are just a few minutes apart. Avengers & Broadway…Avengers clothing was very well organized, clean, high value, & worthy of a visit. If you are my age it’s a trip down memory lane. For the younger generation, a look into the past. They even have lots of accessories for the clothing…jewelry, hats, shoes, ties, etc.Go ahead visit those thrift stores, but when you get tired of spending hours shifting through clothing get to Avengers. Even if you are just cruising down Central stop in for a visit, for that future event. You will not be disappointed!”

“Best shop I’ve found in Albuquerque! After moving from San Francisco I was spoiled with cute shops, and I was disappointed by clothing store options. I found my store, and this is it.”

“What Goes Around Consignment Boutique Westside is a diamond among local, small businesses in Albuquerque. The store’s appearance, merchandise, staff, and consignment platform are top notch! I love how items are paired together, displayed, and grouped in the store for easy identification of brands and sizes. There are items for every fashion taste and budget. Purchases are backed by a 30-day, “love it or return it” policy with store credit issued on any returns. Fun incentives have helped this boutique thrive in the tough economy that COVID-19 brought.

As a consignor, I have appreciated the communication, organization of my items, timely listing of my items in my dashboard, fair pricing, and creative and attractive displays of my items. As a customer, I have enjoyed the friendliness of the staff I have most often had the pleasure with which to speak, and trust that my in-store and online purchases are handled correctly and expediently. A special tip of my hat to Nikole and Lynda at WGA Westside; these two ladies go above and beyond in providing a comfortable and enjoyable customer and consignor experience. Thank you, both, for making What Goes Around Consignment Boutique Westside such a fantastic opportunity to shop! Stop by WGA and meet Nikole and Lynda…you’ll be just as impressed with their work as I am!”

“Love this store! Their clothing is high-end and a little more expensive, but the quality of the items is worth a few more dollars to me, and they're still more affordable than the mall. I hope this place always stays in business.”

“Andy & Edie is truly an ABQ delight. You feel instantly transported to the 1960's upon entering. Love the Warhol art pop theme & decor. There are many hand selected (one of a kind) pieces from the 60's to 80's. Be sure to check out their groovy sunglasses & jewelry. They were sold out of scarves when i was there. The cashier Ezra was nice to talk to & kindly recommended me to visit a nearby vintage shop for scarves. Had fun shopping here & will return!”

“Dori, is awesome she's very honest & loyal to her people, customers whomever, I been going there now for 12yrs I love it. “Been here a few times. A little pricey and a small booth BUT the variety, rotation of stock and finding some rare gems happens often enough to come back when I have the dough. The ability to inspect your records before you buy is a great policy--been in a rush a couple times and should have checked. But the occasional scratches come with the territory of old records purchases so no harm no foul. Dig the cassettes too. Nice little record nook.”

“We had a great experience with Angie. Easy to set up an appointment. She has a crazy fun shop with so many options and history. We needed a character costume of higher quality than the Halloween shops provide. Angie had just the thing in the right size and clean. Her pricing is a little higher than said Halloween shops. Understandably, there is a certain risk to “lend out” her precious pieces. For our purposes, to create a great memory for our family, it was worth it. Would go back if we needed a unique costume.”

“Had a really great experience here. I know very little about bikes, but am going to be commuting by bike a few days a week soon, so I went to buy one here. I brought my dad along since he knows a bit more about bikes than me, though he's not an expert.

Right from the start, the great customer service is obvious. They greeted us at the door and asked if we'd been there before, and when we said we hadn't, they gave us the (very brief but actually helpful) mandatory tour for first-time customers. This shop is very no-frills and can be a bit confusing, so I think that was great, and it seriously takes like 2 minutes.

The lady who gave us the tour handed us off to an older gentleman named John (he said to call him Old John if I need anything because apparently a bunch of guys named John work there haha), who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He spent a really long time with us, not just helping me select a bike but teaching me about how the gear shifting mechanisms work, how to figure out what gears I should be in for my commute, talking about different mods I can make, etc.

When we settled on a likely candidate, he had me take it out for a test ride. First, he made adjustments to help it fit better. He also offered a loaner helmet (which I accepted), which I really appreciated. Then he even gave tips on my riding technique, which were super helpful and things I'd never heard before. Just really basic stuff that I'm sure any semi-serious cyclist already knows, but as someone who hasn't ridden a lot as an adult? Extremely useful information.

One thing to remember is this is a consignment shop, so everything is mostly sold as-is. The only problem with the bike I bought was that it did have a pretty uncomfortable seat for me, and he identified the problem right away and suggested buying a different one. However, this didn't feel like upselling at all--he even noted the prices and told us "oh, this is more expensive than you need right now," so I wound up buying a $20 one instead of the $100 one we also glanced at until he saw the price. He also had me test ride the bike again with that saddle, and the difference was obvious so I had no hesitation.

John also recommended other mods to consider in the future (pedals and handlebars) but said it wasn't worth buying them from him usually, and recommended good but affordable products to look at if and when I do decide to upgrade. I really appreciated the way he separated "change this now, it will make a big difference" stuff (the seat) from "this will probably be nice but ride awhile and see how you feel and how it fits into your budget" stuff.

I walked out with not just a nice bike, but feeling a lot more confident about my ability to ride it and take care of it.

He also asked me to check in after a few weeks to let him know how it was working, and I think he meant it. I definitely plan to stop in again soon regardless. At the very least I need some hiking pants for this winter, and maybe some new boots, and their shoe and pant selection looked really good at a glance.”

“This shop makes consigning and purchasing cloths easy! Cindy the owner is a joy to work with - so pleasant and professional. Consigned cloths that don't sell are doanted to a very worthy charity. So it feels good all the way around.”

“Seriously one of the best experiences in my life. I have purchased facial hair on line for my performances over the past year. They always ship super fast and it is quality merchandise. I finally went to the store because me and my girlfriend needed some animal masks for a friend’s show in Albuquerque. Wow! This store is so much fun and freaking incredible. The staff made us feel so welcome and did not give us a hard time because we arrived 15 minutes until closing. They all were so nice and helpful If we would have had more time I would have bought more! We will definitely be back . I perform as a Drag King and my girlfriend is also a performer. We don’t have stores like this in Santa Fe. If you get a chance, go to Off Broadway, it’s amazing.”

“I absolutely adore this store. They have the coolest pops that I have seen. They may be a little overpriced from time to time, but It's only because the store is owned by a private collector I believe and they pay for the items themselves. My partner has gotten several decent Hot Wheels for his collection here too.”

“Really amazing & unique selection, and very friendly staff. They are a little particular on what they pick to buy if you're bringing in clothes but it is completely understandable. They also give a large amount of trade $ for the items which is unlike many places I've gone too! Found lots of good pieces.”

“Today I went in like so many other days.
The two women I interacted with were super kind. They took things. Offered fair prices and passed on items fair to pass on. I admire the honesty about the struggles of working here.

My heart goes out to these folks. The population in the immediate area is truly just rough. I can't say I blame them if every interaction isn't pure perfection.

I'll keep coming here. Shopping. Selling and supporting.”

“I always find super cute clothes here, it takes self control not to visit more often. You’d obviously make more money off your used clothes if you sold them elsewhere, but if your goal is simply to donate them, it’s pretty sweet to get cash that goes towards new finds. Not sure why the reviews are so cranky lol.”
