“Rio Bravo Veterinary Hospital is a blessing to Abq! About 3 weeks ago my puppy had developed an ear infection in both ears. I had called around for price comparisons. Everyone was asking $102, $130 even $190 for the starting exam. That doesn't include the diagnosis or medication. Thankfully, the sister clinic of RBVH had referred me to Rio Bravo Veterinary Hospital. The starting exam was $50.24! I said let's do it! From there Dr. Hansen and Juan took very good care of my baby Thoth. Everyone there has been so nice and helpful. Thank you deeply from me and my baby Thoth ???.

“I've been going to Bolton since 2008 and they are great! Dr. Horn was a very good vet (now retired) and Dr. Doran is my vet now, and she has been great also. The vets and staff are always friendly and helpful. They have a huge reception area which I like, and the Paw Plans are nice when my dogs need dental work. You pay over 12 months instead of all at once. I would highly recommend Bolton to anyone!”

“Wonderful visit. Have been going here since 2010. They updated the office and it looks fresh! We got our appointment in a few days from calling. Tomas clipped my girls nails and gave her cytopoint injection. He was kind and professional. We have german shepherds and he handled her without concerns. The staff is always nice, kind and respectful I’m grateful we have Dr Bays and her team taking care of our girls. Thank you!!!”

Ignacio lived with congestive heart failure and when he became too sick , my husband and I trusted Dr.Flower to give him the compassionate care to die peacefully. She and her staff provided care for us too, as we grieved his passing. A very special clinic.”

“This vet hospital is a God-send and Dr. Bill is an angel in Vets clothing!! I took my beloved dog Ralph in for excessive itching and Dr. Bill did a routine physical, upon checking Ralphs teeth he noticed SEVERE absesses. He got Ralph into surgery almost immediately and basically saved his life!! I'll forever be grateful to South Valley Animal Clinic. The price was more than fair and Dr. Bill was very clear on all procedures he administered. If Dr.Bill ever gets to read this, or his staff, please know you've saved my baby and I'll forever recommend your awesome clinic.”

“Wanted to leave a review for the staff and especially Dr. Kiki. I brought my cat Brooks in when she started showing signs that something was neurologically wrong. She was walking like she was drunk. The staff there first of all was so sweet and compassionate with myself and Brooks. They sent off some bloodwork to do some testing but over the weekend my Brooks stopped walking and had a seizure. After letting Dr. Kiki know what was going on, she has gone out of her way to call and check on Brooks every single day and always kept me informed on different options, especially with my limited funds. This is the first vet I’ve been to where I feel like they actually care about my cat and aren’t trying to nickel and dime me every step of the way. Today, on a combination of meds from Dr. Kiki, my Brooks was able to walk over to me (with an unsteady gait still) and head butt me and purr. A couple days ago she couldn’t even lift her head up. We still have a long road ahead of us but I know I have a clinic that has my back if need be. Thanks guys”

“My dog has an eye growth that came back after cryo removal 18 months ago at a vet in Massachusetts, but he is also very old dog so I wanted to make sure another procedure was the right thing. The vet was incredibly knowledgeable, very kind, communicated well, and really helped me assess my options. We even found things with his eye we did not expect and she presented realistic tests and options for it. My dog is pretty growly and he calmed right down with the vet tech. We have not done the procedure yet but I have no doubt that will also be a positive experience. Also, the reason we have not done the procedure is because they did not pressure me to it, they actually advised waiting to see what happens, which I know is not money in their pocket so I appreciate that I did not have to fight for that option.”

“This place is always awesome!! The team is always super friendly and helpful.. The leadership team seems to always be thinking on how to improve their customer experiences. It’s awesome because I’ve been going for about 7 years and it seems like my pet gets cleaner every time I step into that place. They change their approach on shampoos, brushes, sprays etc.. All of this really helps so I’m appreciative of them! They do it all! 12/10 on this business lol you read that right! Never leaving this place!”
“Living in a remote area with no access to emergency after hours vet services, I was so blessed to find petroglyph!! My cat had a traumatic head injury and it was worth the 2 1/2 hour drive to access care. Connor and Veronica are top notch reception staff. Snuffy was triaged quickly to make sure he was stable. And while there was a wait, the waiting area is comfortable and patient flow is well organized.
Veronica and Dr. Ku were efficient and caring. And while I was expecting a hefty visit fee, the bill was very reasonable.

“My dog, Raider, is very anxious in any vet’s office & requires anti-anxiety meds before going. The tech & the Dr @ this office were so calm & patient with him! They told me he did great while in the back briefly without me & gave me details of how he did & how they handled him. I felt very safe & comfortable with him in their care. And then Dr Mount spent a good amount of time telling us what she discovered & best treatment options & how to proceed from there. I was extremely pleased with their knowledge & care!!!! And I was also highly impressed with how much info they already had on him from communication with his reg vet prior to our appt. They were clearly very thorough with their prep (better than any PCP or specialist I’ve ever gone to personally).
Raider wasn’t thrilled, but he also wasn’t petrified. ☺️

Edit to add: I unfortunately had to put down my sweet dog last year and the staff were so kind and empathetic, one lady even crying with me while I carried my dog in. The vet handled the euthanasia very professionally and made to sure to try and shield me from the odd sounds that came from my dogs mouth after(I’m just unfortunately very observant and noticed them anyways but I do deeply appreciate her effort). They let me take all the time I needed in the room with her after she was gone. Such a painful and difficult experience was handled by all staff so wonderfully and made the situation as smooth as it can be.”
