“Absolutely love this place and I’ve only been there once, so far. Left them a message to make an appointment because my dog has been having seizures for the past few years and the other vet I was going to did nothing about it. My dad referred me to sunrise cause he takes his dog there. They were able to somehow get me in that day- which is much appreciated. Dr. Abernathy is great, well educated and caring. He explained to me that putting my dog on a seizure medication would hopefully help him in the future- which is way more than the other vet did for me. The staff there is awesome and friendly. Was a great price too. I’m so happy I finally found my pets a good, trustworthy vet. Highly recommend.”
“I could tell from the minute I walked in this was a very kind-hearted and loving place. Both the techs and the vet doctor were outstanding. We just had adopted a new dog from the city shelter so they did our free exam. I was very impressed because it didn't feel like a corporatized veterinarian office where they push pharmaceuticals. They were so good with Willow and took great care of her. I highly recommend”

“The staff were very compassionate and Dr Espinoza we can’t take them enough for allowing us in for an emergency visit this morning while traveling with our precious cat Foxy who’s been battling thyroid and kidney disease for the last two years, she took a turn for the worse the last few days and we had to have her laid to rest thank you very much. We look forward to getting our ashes back next Wednesday.”
“Website listed under RR Animal hospitals is false as they don't have one; I was told this by Dana at front desk so don't give personal info. via online. Best to just call. Small business and excellent Dr. will soon retire which explains less hours that are available. They have offered for our pup good wellness care, and shots plus routine heartworm med. were affordable. Front desk help is so informative with issues that were resolved often over the phone. FYI- though for emergencies, you will be referred elsewhere.”

“We were able to get a same day appointment and were very pleased and impressed with the thorough evaluation and treatment plan provided by Dr. Espinosa. Even though the clinic was very busy our dog received her undivided attention. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. It was a very positive experience and we look forward to our pets receiving care at Coronado Pet Hospital in the future.”
