My dog had somehow broke her dew claw nail, exposing the soft tissue underneath—clearly very painful for her (it’s like if one of us humans ripped off a nail, and the nail bed were exposed). We had been seen only once at this clinic before, and the doc decided to squeeze us in same-day, within a couple hours of this accident!Unheard of with any other vet clinic I’ve experienced with other pets!They got her mended and didn’t do extra unnecessary services, like I’ve had happen at other vets. They even exchanged the cone given last time for an updated one for free! She will be back to her joyful, exuberant self in no time, in spite of having to wear the cone of shame for a few days.”

“My dog has an eye growth that came back after cryo removal 18 months ago at a vet in Massachusetts, but he is also very old dog so I wanted to make sure another procedure was the right thing. The vet was incredibly knowledgeable, very kind, communicated well, and really helped me assess my options. We even found things with his eye we did not expect and she presented realistic tests and options for it. My dog is pretty growly and he calmed right down with the vet tech. We have not done the procedure yet but I have no doubt that will also be a positive experience. Also, the reason we have not done the procedure is because they did not pressure me to it, they actually advised waiting to see what happens, which I know is not money in their pocket so I appreciate that I did not have to fight for that option.”

“I've had 2 experiences thus far with Pet Vet Market & both have been really great. My first experience was visiting for the shot clinic. I'll start by saying this offering is incredibly admirable. The clinic is adorable and doesn't require reservations. I stopped by with my 2 pups and the experience was pretty stressful and long. I waited for ~1.5 hours outside in the summer and it wasn't comfortable. During the wait there was a dog that joined the wait whom was pretty aggressively barking- which set off heaps of dogs. But again I want to reiterate that they are doing great things with having this clinics & with it being open, of course it's to be expected that there will be a long wait and a few potentially uncomfortable situations. Today was my 2nd time heading in & it was to try the self dog wash area. It was my first time trying this VS heading to the groomers & the experience was great! There grooming products provided worked well & both the cleaning/drying stations were clean and safe. I called day of to see if an appt was available and they squeezed me in. Today happened to also be another shot clinic & this one looked a lot more enjoyable. Folks were allowed to wait inside and no dogs seemed to be barking at one another. So I'd say it's worth trying out & if the line is around the building/it's stressful; try to attend a different day. I'll be back to clean my pups on a regular basis!”

“Let me start off by saying that my pets are well let's just say this I don't have children so they are very loved and adored by me and I don't always have a lot of money on them or as many of you I'm sure no expensive vet visits which sometimes turn out to be something rather small that we think of that we can take care of ourselves when oftentimes even something big that we can't afford anyways. However going to see really the entire staff but Dr Saddam made me feel like I was in excellent hands and more importantly my little Bellamy was in excellent hands and him along with his entire team made time for her to come in in a bit of a rush because she needed some work done quickly. He also has been willing to work with me financially and give options to help me be able to take care of my dog and frankly everyone I see has a huge smile on their face so I have to assume they're doing something right and one thing I know they're doing very well is exactly what they tell you they will do they will not promise you more than they can do they will do what they can for whatever kind of furry or scaly or any kind of friend you have and they are a operation that is first class from the waiting room to the visiting rooms as well as the equipment The doctors and the entire staff are really a 10 out of 10 in all aspects. I couldn't be happier and about a month ago I had no idea what I was going to do or where I was going to take my dog. I also have been given some tools to utilize even simple things like making sure to clean my dogs teeth or take her in for a less expensive cleaning so it doesn't end up costing a large bill in the end so it's been a very honest and transparent interaction My dog is happy and acting like her usual puppy self despite the fact that she is almost or around 8 years old but I don't think she knows it and thanks to Dr Saddam and the entire team at Aztec animal clinic she'll be going strong for years to come. They also took care of my other service animal and partner in crime Lucy Liu who was another little pitbull sweetheart who ended up eventually losing her battle however the compassion showing here is next to nothing I in fact have some PTSD from an incident involving a car accident with one of my dogs but they have really gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable on top of my dog feeling comfortable. I'm rambling though but I don't think I could say enough good things really and that's simply from experience. Thank you to everyone that Aztec animal clinic and to anyone looking to take care of your little buddy whatever kind they might be This is a good local business to contact.”

From the first phone call to the end I was so happy and relieved that my baby was in good hands everone was nice and professional. I loved her doctor she gave me tips on how to care for Zoeyand informed me about her surgery I left her in the best care for sure. “My giant German Shepherd has been a patient of D4A in ABQ for 6 months now. When we first arrived, his skin looked like swiss cheese. He had a antibiotic resistant skin infection. D4A worked with my local vet (we live 3 hours away) to do bloodwork and skin cytologies/biopsies so that when we arrived for our first appointment, we could get going on a therapy right away. They listened to me regarding things that had worked and not worked for him in the past. They were able to offer new ideas to help get the infection under control. It has been touch and go for the past six months, but we just went for our recheck appointment, and I am happy to report that his skin is nearly 100% clear. He will be a constant work in progress, and it has not been inexpensive, but the staff at D4A are very knowledgeable and the cost is worth it. We went from literally not knowing what else to do for him to having a plan and having the plan work. Thank you D4A!!!”
