Walgreens Pharmacy in Albuquerque offers generally helpful and respectful service from its staff, including pharmacists who take the time to address customer concerns and answer questions. Customers appreciate the quick prescription filling, which allows them to continue their busy journeys without delay. The pharmacy staff is often praised for being kind, patient, and attentive, with some customers choosing to continue their prescriptions there after having negative experiences elsewhere. However, the store faces challenges common to many locations in the area, such as issues with shoplifters and homeless individuals, especially in the parking lot, which can be dark, littered, and sometimes feel unsafe. Customers note that since the store does not sell alcohol, incidents with shoplifters are less severe. The pharmacy is not open on Sundays, which some find inconvenient, but others acknowledge the need for planning around this. Despite these issues, the overall experience is positive in terms of service quality, though safety concerns in the parking lot remain a concern for both staff and customers.
Why are you closed at 3:30 p.m. on a Sunday? This is my fourth trip to try and get my prescription in the past month. There is always some issue.

The pharmacy at this location is awful - always understaffed, ill-prepared and obviously trying to get out of work as soon as possible. They literally shut the blinds in my face so they could close by 6pm. Awful.
