Walgreens Pharmacy in Albuquerque offers generally helpful and respectful service from its staff, including pharmacists who take the time to address customer concerns and answer questions. Customers appreciate the quick prescription filling, which allows them to continue their busy journeys without delay. The pharmacy staff is often praised for being kind, patient, and attentive, with some customers choosing to continue their prescriptions there after having negative experiences elsewhere. However, the store faces challenges common to many locations in the area, such as issues with shoplifters and homeless individuals, especially in the parking lot, which can be dark, littered, and sometimes feel unsafe. Customers note that since the store does not sell alcohol, incidents with shoplifters are less severe. The pharmacy is not open on Sundays, which some find inconvenient, but others acknowledge the need for planning around this. Despite these issues, the overall experience is positive in terms of service quality, though safety concerns in the parking lot remain a concern for both staff and customers.
The pharmacy is terrible. My prescriptions are always late, there's often problems with refill orders being processed correctly. Sometimes they are understaffed and close early or have an hour long line. I'm going to run out of my prescription I'm supposed to take daily because this pharmacy is so dysfunctional.

Closing due to lack of staff, three hour delay to get your prescription filled looking for a new pharmacy unfortunately, this has happened on multiple occasions

The worst pharmacy I have EVER tried to use. They take forever with no regard to urgency. I even tried to get my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy but when my other pharmacy called, they won’t answer the phone. Literally the worst. Don’t go here. I will travel far and wide to never go there again.
