“Excellent service at an affordable rate. Very knowledgeable of the field and we're able to get me in and out same day. The technician pointed out additional preventative maintenance to me as well. I recommend them to anyone in need of service in the area.”

“These guys are awesome! Friendly, fast, thorough and they don’t pressure you. If your vehicle requires any extra they bring it to your attention but don’t hound you if you don’t get it. I travel out of my way for this location. Thank y’all.”
“After dealing with Emili’s(refused to mount and balance tires unless you bought from them) and Forrest Tires (crooks! Wanted $265), I landed here. I received immediate service $125, which is the “norm” for this job. Alejandro was VERY respectful, courteous and respectful. I’d give 6 stars if I could!”
“¡I couldn’t believe my good fortune (if you consider having a flat tire “good fortune”)!
It had been a long day, 24AUG2024, for me because I was up doing roof work on my home before Sun rise/prepping for departure/to go East for family emergency. During my exhausting 180mile/290kms motor to CarlsbadNM, I did take a couple of diversions off Montana/US62-180 and few were off road—but I did go through some roadworks.
Anyway, I had a very much needed overnight in the fabulous Carlsbad Inn and ready to continue East the next morning, Sunday.
I was shocked to find the left front Cooper was FLAT! Fortunately, my former colleague/good friend Jerry had highly recommended a blue portable Kobalt compressor from Lowe’s, which I dug out of the back. It worked extremely well, as did my cellphone/Google maps in locating the closest tire repair: Wal-Mart, just 0.5miles/800 meters West. Knowing how close it was, I guesstimated there was no need to fill the tyre to my usual 40psi, and was able to slowly motor to the auto service side. I immediately queued up in the “tire” lane, where technician Oresto entered my vehicle into a service contract. It wasn’t long before my Ranger was up on the rack, tire removed.
Manager(and fellow Vet/member of the “Mens’ Department) Wayne caught me in the waiting area and explained that this nearly new Cooper had a fatal/unrepairable injury of a nailgun nail piercing the edge between the thick tread and the skinnier sidewall.
Oresto labored further, taking the rack off the hitch to lower the spare and replace the Coop, then reinstalling it. He made it look easy, but I know better, having done that nearly same activity way too many times! I only wish I had more $$ for his tip!
I don’t know about you, but (motor)vehicle tire repairs are quite challenging, especially if you are “aged out” like me. Nowadays, I’m more than happy to save what little muscle I have left and am willing to let the much younger/stronger versions of me do it!
Without a doubt, I was very fortunate that such good people like Oresto & Wayne at the nearby Wal-Mart were working this Sunday. Thank you, ¡¡y Muchas Gracias‼️They—and Wal-Mart—definitely have my coveted “iWheel of Approval!””
“The best oil change place in Carlsbad! The service is excellent. The employees check all the fluids, filters, and tire pressure. If you're unable to change your own oil, I highly recommend MasterLube!”
