The agent I rented the trailer from was friendly and went above and beyond when we discovered the left brake light was inoperable. There was not another trailer of that size available, so she replaced the tail light on the spot, which resolved the issue. Thanks!

My experience with the U-Haul Moving & Storage of Hobbs was great.I only wish that the level of professionalism in person was better. Also, my brother said that they could use more training on how to use a screwdriver and how to load U-boxes. Lol.This facility is by far better and cleaner than any of the Los Angeles area U-Hauls or U-Haul sanctioned facilities from where I originally started.They sell a wide variety of boxes.Additionally, they rent out storage units upstairs.For a DIY task, U-Haul is always a safe bet.

Carl, the Area Field Manager, worked with me on a customer service case relating to my one-way, turned nightmare, due to not getting to move-in for an additional week after arriving. He took care of my case quickly, and with good communication with me through the process. U-Haul can and will work with you if you give them enough time to make your reservation work.

Temperature gets to high in the summer, should be between 65 degree Fahrenheit and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. But constantly goes above 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Not happy do to the fact that it’s above room temperature. It’s critical for my property not to reach certain temperature or it will cause damage. Customer crevice is fast and friendly. Needs maintenance or upgrade on AC units for indoor climate control.

I flew into Lubbock after reserving a truck at this location. I received a call telling me that my reservation had been cancelled. Then I was lied to and told it had not been cancelled but transferred to Lubbock.

Uhaul should be Google’s opportunity to change course to allow zero stars.Buying and closing on a new home is such a joyful time DECIMATED ERADICATED OBLITERATED via multiple cancellations by our local branch, despite multiple confirmations. Any positive emotion we could have had has been stolen by this company and now we face hundreds in losses from movers and fees that under the assumption Uhaul could follow through with their own policies. If given the option to move again through this company, or have my elderly father carry the entirety of my belongings on his back while wearing no shoes I’d pick my father. At least he would be reliable. I have never been so disrespected and disappointed by a company in my life. If you want to make the biggest mistake you can when it comes to moving, choose Uhaul

My experience with Alisha the manager at U-haul was horrible. I’ve rented you boxes there for one year and then each time I’ve had to request to get in them has been a hassle. Usually the forklift is down or they don’t have an operator or not enough people working in the store… I’ve heard every reason why they can’t get my new box down and when I asked for a refund for that month the answer is always no. This last time with Alisha, who I had the displeasure of dealing for five days now and each day it gets worse.The first day she said she was all alone and couldn’t get my U boxes out until 2 PM. At 3 PM she calls and says that she deems it too dangerous to get down the U box because she doesn’t like her forklift. She says I’m going to have to wait until she gets her other forklift out of repair and it’s going to be a few days. I only had a few days until my month ran out and would have to pay again.The next day she gets my box down and calls me out of the blue at 3 PM and ask when am I going to be getting into my boxes they’ve been out for a while now. As soon as I get out of work I go to load up. On the second load, I drove up someone comes out and says are you ready for me to put those back in we’re about to close! This happens twice in a row and Today Alisha told me that she is giving me to the end of the day to get my stuff and then she’s not going to bring down the U box. When I asked to speak to a manager she just continued on her rant and I had to asked three times if I could just speak to a manager and finally she told me she was the manager. At that point I said why didn’t you just identify yourself as a manager when I asked five days ago?? If she would have I would’ve known then there was no hope in this place and stopped asking.She won’t let me talk or ask questions because she interrupts and keeps talking over me repeating she needs 24 hours or saying forklift problem-even though I’ve been working around their lack of help and lack of forklifts for five days. Then she said I’M giving you to the end of the day to get your stuff out and hung up on me!!!Do not rent here. Do not even come inside. I suggest eagle storage.

Bad. Booked trailer rental a month out and a day before pick up I’m told my pick up is in Carlsbad New Mexico which is over an hour drive 1 way. No discounts or anything given. Custom service was a joke and I will not be using uhaul again after this move.

STAFFED BY IDIOTS The people who work at this U-Haul are the most rude, arrogant unprofessional, incompetent, self-important people you will ever encounter. It is obvious they couldn't care less. After waiting 10 minutes for someone to show up at the counter, I reserved a rental. The lady who made the reservation demanded I physically hand her my credit card, and would not let me use the card reader. I said I did not feel comfortable giving her my card, but she refused to let me use the card reader. The following day I arrived to pick up my rental, and once again no one was at the counter. Eventually a lady showed up carrying several food and drink items - presumably enough for all the employees because she could barely carry the load. Around that same time some other lady came out of the back, and summoned me to the counter, "over here." I was given the third degree, and was told I had to provide a physical address verified by my driver's license, a copy of driver's license front and back. Then I was told I had to provide not only my personal information (which had nothing to do with the business transaction), but I also had to provide someone else's personal information as well. At this point I had enough, and stated there is no reason they needed someone else's personal information. Thats when the lady with the food told me, they were going to call the other person's phone number to ensure I had provided a valid number - and someone better answer the phone that could verify my information. At that point I lost my cool, and told them where they could stick their f-ing equipment - no holding back! In my opinion, there is something else going on here. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!
