“I love books and bookstores. I can spend hours at a bookstore reading or browsing through books. If only I had more time to do it! I regret not taking photos when I visited Casa Camino Real. It's been awhile since I've gone. I love this unique, one of a kind bookstore! It has a homey feel to it. It feels like grandma's or tia's (aunt's) house when you're there. Chicana author Denise Chavez owns it with her husband. Can you believe I actually had the opportunity to take a writing workshop with her? It was such a great opportunity! She's an award-winning writer and there I was in her presence! Thanks to a great aunt, I had the opportunity to take her workshop. My poor aunt is still waiting for me to write a book! Maybe it will happen someday! Anyway... Mrs. Chavez's bookstore has all kinds of books! There was even books in the bathroom! There were lots of children's and non-fiction books, along with many others. I'm not sure what the hours of operation are so I recommend calling before showing up. Mrs. Chavez also sells books online at: abebooks.com She has over 1,000 books for sale there. Copies of her books are sold on Amazon and pretty much anywhere else books are sold. Check this gem out if you're in Las Cruces sometime. There is something for everyone.”

“I attended DDP Yoga every Wednesday from 9 am -10am give or take. I enjoy working out in a comfortable place. I've never attended any services at this location. I'm not rating the church.bim rating the yoga class that takes place here inside the church. I sure hope this yoga class will be here for quite a while. Also the instructor for the yoga class is extremely nice, respectful and he values what you can do rather than you have to do this no matter what. He lets you work at your own pace. Thank you Mr. Chacon!”
“this book store is perfect in which you can get all your school supplies and school necessities and don't get me started on the staff, the staff let me tell you, is one of a kind. they always manage to be very friendly even in the face of adversity and customer complaints, I feel like in a way the staff is what brings the the book store from being 4.5 stars to 5. And the coffee/ snack section is what really brought it home for me. I have just moved here and had never heard of coffee before in my life so when I decided to try it absolutely blew my minddddd. It was unearthly, and the variety of drink options keeps me coming back to the place every single time, if anyone has any other places that they think I should give a try let me know.”
