Las CrucesI had to have my beloved 17 year old Australian Shepard euthanized Last week. I am so glad that I chose Dr. Kane. She was the most caring, kind, and compassionate vet. 2920 Avenida de Mesilla, Las CrucesWe visit Mesilla from out of town every year. One of our favorite things to do while visiting is to visit the Spotted Dog brewery. Usually nothing beats sitting on the front patio looking at the Organ mountains while drinking their excellent IPA and chomping down on their tasty green chile cheeseburger. I honestly think it's the best green chile cheeseburger in New Mexico. This trip has been HOT though. If I could wave my magic wand to make things even better it would be to install misting fans to the front patio area. A couple of times on this trip we wanted to grab a pint while looking at the mountains but it was just too hot. We were told they have misters on the back patio, but for out of towners that love to look at the mountains, misters would be such a great addition. The front patio was empty both times we tried to go during the afternoon. I'm sure adding a misting system (or big standalone fans) would make the patio so much more pleasant just like Madelyn's has done.

Showed up for supper only to realize my error. But the waiter interceeded for me with kitchen staff and they made it for me.
WONDERFUL service to accommodate me like that!!!!
The brisket was outrageously good: I told them to start making it into jerky!
And their sweet tea with a touch of cinnamon was a new one on me and an instant favorite!
