I went in for gecko food, and the worms they have are big, active, and from my Leopard Gecko Ghillie's reaction, quite yummy.The prices are comparable to big chain stores, and unlike those stores, the bugs are all actually alive.They also have a lot of really cool animals in there. I'd never actually seen a new caledonian lizard, and they have other cool things as well.Grade A service and merch.

Las CrucesI cannot speak highly enough of Kim. The service she offers is invaluable to a devoted pet owner. She was kind and gentle, and helped me say goodbye to Izzi, my companion dog of 17 years. It was indeed a gift for Izzi's last moments to be at home, where she felt safe with me, instead of driving to the vets office where she would be afraid. It's been a few years now and I've have a new girl, not so young anymore. When the time comes, it will be Kim that I turn to.

Although, I didn’t like the green one as I’m not a big fan of tomatillos but the “avocado” salsa (not sure if it’s made with avocado or not) was wonderful. I ordered 2 asada, 1 barbacoa and 1 tripitas tacos. I like that you can order a variety of tacos in the order. My husband loved his tripitas tacos too and he said the limonada was excellent. Service was excellent and our server was very polite. We really hope this local restaurant keeps going because it can potentially become one of our favorites. I want to go back to try the lengua tacos since they were all out today. Highly recommend it!!!! ??

The ahi tuna plate spice level about 2-3/5. It is a cold (not hot) dish so refreshing on a hot day. Again very fresh ingredients. The sauce complements the fish and vegetables perfectly.

We ordered the fish n chips, schnitzel that came with green beans & mash potatoes, for dessert we ordered the creme brulee, chocolate torte. I thought the happy hour dog-friendly event was at this location, but it turned out to be in ABQ, not LC—my mistake. They were kind enough to offer us complimentary pinot grigio anyway which was so tasty and refreshing.
First off, everything was absolutely delicious. The fish n chips was so good it reminded us of eating the same dish in London. The batter was perfectly crispy, fish was juicy, the fries were also crisped to perfection. The schnitzel was incredible. The breading was also so crispy, juicy, and it came with a delicious garlicy, mushroom, lemony sauce. The green beans & mash potatoes were also devine. My husband thought the chocolate torte was the best he'd ever had. I also loved my creme brulee.
Our server was Celeste. She was very personable but would disappear for large periods of time. We wish she would have been more attentive. Maybe it was because we ate on the patio and she was busy with tables inside.
Lastly, they allow you to bring your dogs out on the patio which is so nice. For anyone that does this, please don't be that person that doesn't pick up their dogs poop. There was a man who let his chihuahua mix poop right next to our table as we were trying to enjoy our wine. He was so rude and didn't bother to pick it up. That really ruined the romantic mood.
