“Cute store. Soft, quality t-shirts. Even better cause. As you can see on their website, they donate a portion of the proceeds to first pay off school lunches and in 2022, to food banks. All to help those in need. Hearing about their cause got me into the door. Seeing the clothes for myself led me to actually buying some! “The staff is great! They’re literal like personal shoppers. Took my brother and kids shopping there and they helped with sizing and filled the fitting room up with jeans and shirts for them to try on. They go above and beyond for your shopping needs.

“Only store my highschooler will shop from, love there back to school sales or their clearance selection great price for the quality of their brand. never had a bad experience in store or online and being a gold member had nice perks always free shipping which can add up from other retailers especially when your buying a item or 2 and need to pay 10 or so to ship nice way to save,& even more of reason to shop online also returns are easy and always in your favor. very helpful staff as well”

“I have a cowboy hat ? that I’ve had for around 30 years! It’s a George Strait signature hat that I bought way back in the days when I enjoyed putting on my Wranglers, my Tony Lama boots, and this hat to go out and two step around the dance floor with my girl! Well, that girl decided to accept my proposal, and we’ve been together ever since! Fast forward 30+ years, and that hat has seen better days, and not exactly in style, nor is it designated with the high X’s like the new cowboy hats of today. In fact, the leather sweatband inside has become brittle, split and unstitched! So a friend recommended that I go talk to Mike at “A Real Man” hat store in the famous Mesilla Plaza in the Mesilla Historic District, a great little town park and shops as well as the historic San Albino Catholic Church, the Double Eagle (haunted) restaurant and bar, famous La Posta De Mesilla restaurant, Billy The Kid Store and so much more. BUT TO THE POINT…A Real Man, is a great little hat store in the plaza, where you can get a great hat of any style that suits your taste! Now my goal was to see if the store owner, Mike could give me some advice about fixing my old cowboy hat. Not to be my fancy hat, but to repurpose it as my favorite work hat so I can cover my old head when I’m helping my friend plant pecan trees, or feed his cattle from time to time or working around my own home, or taking a little hike in the beautiful Organ Mountain trails. THE REVIEW…Mike at A Real Man Hat Shop was first and for most, a super cool guy, full of great conversation, and a fantastic resource of information and inspiration! Mike knew that I was not there to buy a new hat at that visit, but that didn’t stop Mike from having a great conversation and giving me some ideas for a solution to fixing my hat that basically has more sentimental value than any other purpose. So Mike basically shared his expertise, and created a new friend, and a hat customer for life. Very reminiscent of the days of old when we went to our favorite barbershop to get a haircut, maybe a shave and mostly to shoot the bull ? and discuss solving the problems of the world ?! So I highly recommend that you go meet Mike at A Real Man Hat Shop if you want a new hat, be it novelty, dress, or functional daily wear hat, or just drop in to say hi, and meet a great local businessman who loves people!
