“We start off by saying how kind the staff is, from the time we called to make reservation to check in. We have difficulty finding places to stay that have pet-free rooms, so we appreciate that the Sunset Motel has two rooms set aside that don't allow pets in the room. The room was exceptionally clean, in fact much more so than some other places we've stayed. Keep in mind the decor is as it should be for an older route 66 motel, which adds to the charm. Also expected, due to location, there is traffic noise but with the AC on and small table top fans we take with us on trips, the sound is muted. We did not feel that the bed is actually queen size and not very comfortable, felt like we kept rolling to the middle - that could be just personal preference. Also a side note, the picture on their main website showing breakfast items, is not exact. However, we do appreciate they provided a take away bag with muffin, danish and small oranges. Thank you Sunset Motel for your hospitality.”

“Looks a bit unimpressive from the outside but was very surprised on how nice it was inside. The pool was clean, always had pool towels available, breakfast was good, there was always hot coffee, hot chocolate and ice water available in the lobby.

Really enjoyed our room and the Internet was reliable. Beds comfortable and clean.”

“Planned for one night , stayed 2 due to a tire issue. Clean, easy, breakfast, good parking , walking distance to things if issue while travel. The gem is Janet. She seems to wear many hats ! Front desk, cleaning etc and she was the sweetest most polite lady. I really appreciate the hospitality and would def stay again.”

“We’re on a road trip from central Ohio to Northern California. We found the Quallity Inn online, and after a long day of driving, decided to stay there. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was well equipped, and the area around the hotel was quiet. The people we saw who work there are friendly and welcoming. There is a breakfast buffet, so we had a good breakfast before heading out for the next leg of our trip. It was a nice place to stay, and definitely recommend it to others.”
