Three stars only because they actually had everything I needed. But if you look at the photos and expect that, forget it!
There were no cheeses or fresh vegetables and I didn't really see anything organic either. The place is 99% liquor and a couple of other old dusty things on the shelf. None of the refrigerators that did work had any lights on in them and they were overpriced but that was to be expected.
I picked up the only pack of storage containers and they were so dusty... Thank goodness our cabin had a dishwasher.
Online this looked cute but coming from El Rito, there are better options, not much further.
Definitely NOT a destination!!!

Not liking how they no longer accept EBT as this is a huge problem for many residents near by as they rely on EBT friendly places and now must travel 30 or more minutes in order to do so

Do NOT buy the beef jerky.
We bought a bag for the road (you have to buy something to use the restrooms)
We opened it, it was old, smelled like rancid dog food. I doubt any of it was actually edible. Too far to turn back for a refund.

A must stop on the way through, or if Ojo is your destination. Take a walk around and take in the amazing murals that adorn this historic roadside attraction.Amazing selection of wines, beers and spirits and the most welcoming staff in Northern NM. The fresh produce blew me away. Nothing like the typical gas station food you might expect along most routes.Do yourself a favor and come hungry and thirsty.?

I got ice here and fueled up my car. It's the only gas station and store for miles and miles. Prices were a little high, which is to be expected when you're shopping at the only store for miles around. Ice was $3 for a 10 pound sack.As I walked to the back of the store, I saw the grocery selection went beyond the usual convenience store choices. Some items were even organic. I guess this place serves as THE place to get groceries in Ojo Caliente and the surrounding area.

We always stop here as a pitstop on our way to Santa Fe. Coming from Barcelona, I can say that it seems like it is in the middle of the South West, far away from everything. You certainly have the sensation of being lost in another world. But it is such a delight to find a large red chili powder section and local treasures like Our Virgen of Guadalupe rose scented candles and other locally made products like honey and piñon. Will go back again.

It is a beautiful store but expensive and I give it 5 stars for being the only store in town
