“Clean establishment with regular fuel and diesel. This easily seen and accessed from Highway 279 fuel/convenience store is a clean property with plenty of lighting in the lot. There is a nice Vietnam memorial monument just to the south of the property starting the Vietnam Veterans Highway. Inside the convivence store are a great bunch of employees that were extremely helpful to me during my visit. Clean and a great place to get a snack and cold drink. While on site there were two different contractors doing upgrades and up keep at the time so this shows of high level of pride from the management of this location. The historic Pueblo Village of Paguate, located here, is tucked away on the border of the magnificent Colorado Plateau, at the base of the beautiful mesas of Mount Taylor. Seven free-flowing springs formerly served as a haven for fabled characters like Billy the Kid and Pancho Villa.”
