“A lovely gallery with a wonderful selection of art and jewelry. I visit whenever I’m in Albuquerque and often order from afar. My most recent purchase was a bracelet that continues to delight me. The whole hotel visit is a treat.”
“Update 2026: Still the same great place!
If you want to explore your artistic side then you need to take a class here. It was a nice atmosphere and great music to go along with the painting. Step by step to help you get to the finished product. Love it.”
“This was such a fun and beautiful experience! It was like build a bear for adults/plant people. There were so many fun things to choose from and the experience was awesome all around.”
“Expertly executed framing of two collector’s sheets of US currency. One sheet was given as a birthday gift. It is absolutely stunning. The other framed piece is for me to enjoy. I recommend High Desert with the highest rating possible for two magnificently framed pieces of art.”
“We took two items in for restoration, A minimal, and a major. It does take time but we were amazed at the results of both restorations. The minimal was perfect, the major was very good, much better than we expected, although it was not possible to get it perfect. The damage we were trying to repair was too great. The restorations were both cleaning types, not attempts to restore color or line work.”
“Possibly the best art gallery in town! Not just Old Town! I love the curated collections they choose to exhibit, and I've even bought one painting called "El Pescado" by Rachel Tapia recently. You could also buy different flavors of sparkling water, candles, soap, cards, and more! Run, don't walk, to visit a staple of Albuquerque! It's also connected to Noisy Water Winery. If you get wine, you can bring it into the gallery!”
“This gallery is full of beautiful work and the shadow boxes are a must see. The owner was lovely to talk to and made the visit feel really personal. Absolutely worth stopping in.”

“A very nice customer friendly atmosphere, specializing in Authentic Native American art and jewelry located in Albuquerque NM. Highly recommended by nativejewelerssociety.com and the Council for Indigenous Arts and Culture Inc.”
“This is a fun place to visit for creative yard art. Call before you visit to make sure it's open as it's a one women show. If she is installing one of her fabulous creations the gate is closed - but you can peak through the fence. Make sure to come back and wonder the grounds for the full experience and to see all the options!”
“This is really a store than an art gallery. The owner, David, sells his own artworks as well, but you may find souvenirs and Native American art here. Depends on what you’re buying, I’d say the stuff we got here are fairly priced.”
“Absolutely one of the best galleries in old town. Huge variety of high quality artists of all different mediums, very friendly helpful staff and overall just a cool space to explore”

“Purchased a very nice bracelet with Desert Pearls and turquoise. The Ladies/ owners behind the counters were so nice and knowledgeable and had a variety of jewelry to show. If you are in Albuquerque, New Mexico, want some nice turquoise jewelry, they also have some one of a kind pieces and different types of jewerly, you should check out their collection!”
“A lovely and intimate gallery space. I highly recommend checking it out. And Brianne is extremely knowledgable on all the pieces and artists displayed, which is fantastic.”
“Had a fabulous experience shopping at Moon and Dove. The selection of artwork and jewelry is outstanding! I love Dylan Egon’s work and was so happy to pick up several pieces. Can’t wait to go back and buy more!”
“I scored a beautiful handwoven indigo wool rug. It feels wonderful under my feet. A LOT of items to choose from in the shop. Wonderful people. Such a fun shopping experience!”
“My favorite gallery in Albuquerque. Local artists exhibit their work and staff the desk, as well. Beautiful and varied styles/media to appeal to anyone's taste/s are available, and I've never found the prices to be unreasonable. Parking is easy and there is a special exhibit every first Friday evening of the month. Call the gallery for details.”
“Attended a gallery exhibit. It was far too crowded to really enjoy the impressive artworks. That being said, this would be a great place to visit when less crowded.”
“We purchased a shirt here. The guy behind the counter was helpful and suggested what has become one of my favorite souvenir shirts. Thanks guy-behind-the-counter! :-)”

“Definitely the best place in New Mexico for Mexican curiosities and Talavera. Mr. and Ms. Aguirre are very helpful, kind, and good people. I will return whenever I want a product like this. The products are beautiful and every time I come in, they have something new that I love.
Best Talavera and curiosities place in all Abq.”
“I did a 3 day straight for a sleeve. Frankie did a fantastic job. The artistic design and the depth it went into. I love it. When I was getting sensitive on the last day he did a good job taking care of my skin and how he was working on it. Great work definitely going back”
