“The Weems Gallery Team,
I am writing to share the wonderful experience I recently had at Weems Gallery.
From my initial phone call, I knew I had found the right place to have a special piece of artwork framed for my sister, who is gravely ill. Because the request was time-sensitive, I was deeply moved when they allowed me to bring the artwork in immediately.
Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly and directed to the framer, Chris, who was already aware of my situation. Chris listened carefully, checked his materials, and committed to starting the project right away. The framing was completed by the next day and it looked amazing.
My sister was so happy to see the artwork hanging in her living room, it brought her so much joy. The compassion, thoughtfulness, and care shown by everyone at Weems was overwhelming. I want to thank everyone at Weems for their kindness and generosity!”
“A lovely gallery with a wonderful selection of art and jewelry. I visit whenever I’m in Albuquerque and often order from afar. My most recent purchase was a bracelet that continues to delight me. The whole hotel visit is a treat.”
“Went to Zinks town with a Wounded Warrior event. It was very well accommodated for. We were treated so well. I loved the experience and even got plant advice for my other plants at home. Id definitely recommend as a one on one, date or even as a group setting. Super neat place to go to. Thank for an enjoyable time. ? 10/10 recommend”
“One of the more unique stores in ABQ. Here you can find anything authentically Mexican. From the masks to the local artwork. You can find almost anything culturally Mexican. Come and visit!”
“Expertly executed framing of two collector’s sheets of US currency. One sheet was given as a birthday gift. It is absolutely stunning. The other framed piece is for me to enjoy. I recommend High Desert with the highest rating possible for two magnificently framed pieces of art.”
“Patti is charming, talented and a true asset to design. Her eye for detail is stunning! I love to browse her shop for unique pieces of art, housewares, accessories or just a much-needed lip balm.”
“This gallery is full of beautiful work and the shadow boxes are a must see. The owner was lovely to talk to and made the visit feel really personal. Absolutely worth stopping in.”
“This is a fun place to visit for creative yard art. Call before you visit to make sure it's open as it's a one women show. If she is installing one of her fabulous creations the gate is closed - but you can peak through the fence. Make sure to come back and wonder the grounds for the full experience and to see all the options!”
“Staff are family, so kind and genuinely care. Poetry workshop was a blast and love buying from the storefront gift shop. When Milton passed away they held me in my silent mourning and gave me an outlet to celebrate him in a quiet atmosphere. The other people at open studio honored my heart by sharing stories and letting me share Milton's. Forever grateful for the healing that happens here at off-center.”

“Went to see Brandon Maldonado (incredible artist) show. The space was open late, was well lit, and is a really great gallery space with lots of alcoves and variety of art. The person working the shop was very friendly and helpful. The space is also a quirky shop with a variety of candles, rugs, and other fun accouterments. We will definitely be back to check out other art shows.”
“This is really a store than an art gallery. The owner, David, sells his own artworks as well, but you may find souvenirs and Native American art here. Depends on what you’re buying, I’d say the stuff we got here are fairly priced.”

“Absolutely one of the best galleries in old town. Huge variety of high quality artists of all different mediums, very friendly helpful staff and overall just a cool space to explore”
“I've been coming here for years, always to get some Alebrijes - hand carved and painted wooden animals, made by the owners' family in Oaxaca, Mexico. The artistry is great and they keep adding larger, more intricate and colorful figures. As an artist who has a brightly colored palette, I love how these have brightened my living room! ABQ resident.”
“Art Walk @OT Circus, was excellent. Like 30 vendors, live painting and a band. And a gallery opening. All chill. All peace. Folks have a lot of respect for Victoria. And for the opportunities that she makes available. Lots good face ² face conversation too. Very nice.”
“A lovely and intimate gallery space. I highly recommend checking it out. And Brianne is extremely knowledgable on all the pieces and artists displayed, which is fantastic.”

“I met Jonathan when I was the Grants Program & Policy Director for New Mexico Arts, the state arts agency and a division of the NM Department of Cultural Affairs. Jonathan’s knowledge and experience of managing social media for artists was what led us to hire him for this state-wide project. He is an accomplished collaborator and while lending the benefit of his own expertise also listens to and his clients. He is dedicated to the work that he does and follows through on all his commitments. Jonathan is also a “creative” himself and his artistic eye in creating visual campaigns was extremely helpful to us.I would recommend Jonathan for any role in which creativity and social media or networking are of importance. He is a professional and will work hard to make your program a success.”
“The Garden is a creative event space that is building community; it's a true gem in Albuquerque that has fantastic art workshops and gatherings. If you want to dive deeper into the arts without the pretension, look no further. Follow the Instagram to get the details on upcoming events!”
“A recent find for me, and I am in love with this gallery. It is curated so well and offers art that should satisfy most tastes. The staff person is very friendly and VERY helpful. Street parking available in the Nob Hill area of Albuquerque. Prices are reasonable as the quality of the offerings are top-notch. I bought a piece of abstract art and I just love it.”
“My favorite gallery in Albuquerque. Local artists exhibit their work and staff the desk, as well. Beautiful and varied styles/media to appeal to anyone's taste/s are available, and I've never found the prices to be unreasonable. Parking is easy and there is a special exhibit every first Friday evening of the month. Call the gallery for details.”
“Attended a gallery exhibit. It was far too crowded to really enjoy the impressive artworks. That being said, this would be a great place to visit when less crowded.”

“Definitely the best place in New Mexico for Mexican curiosities and Talavera. Mr. and Ms. Aguirre are very helpful, kind, and good people. I will return whenever I want a product like this. The products are beautiful and every time I come in, they have something new that I love.
Best Talavera and curiosities place in all Abq.”
“We purchased a shirt here. The guy behind the counter was helpful and suggested what has become one of my favorite souvenir shirts. Thanks guy-behind-the-counter! :-)”
“I’ve worked with both employees and they are professional yet really friendly, and most importantly, they have a great eye for good design of matting and framing. Really like this store.”
