My car broke down and I couldn’t get a tow truck for a couple of days and these sweet people let me keep it safely there. Their stock is always good the place is super clean. “Crazy Busy gas station, convenience store but it’s busy for a reason! The gas was cheap, it’s on the way to the interstate and on the right side ;).
And then you walk inside and suddenly all is right with the world. The chaos of the parking lot disappears and the clean, organized, well stocked market with FRESHLY BAKED PUEBLO BREAD is complemented by some of the kindest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered at a gas station/ convenience store.
They got me back on the road for the last part of my trip home completely de stressed and with a fresh attitude all by being genuine and kind. These are some very hard working folks to create that atmosphere with that level of constant business.
And the Pueblo bread was delicious!”

After reading through the reviews for Whiptail, I know that customers love it. If a reviewer was unhappy because she ordered a hamburger, she should try something more exotic next time. The Whiptail has class all the way around. The Old Fashioned with smoke, the beautifully prepared and presented small dishes, and the modern ambience made for an exceptional evening. Casey, our waiter, explained choices on the menu and stayed attentive throughout our experience. The chef does well prepared dishes with a contemporary flair. I highly recommend the Whiptail for those who appreciate the finer things in life.”
