“I really love staying in high quality hotels that are owned by small businesses. This place is unique so if you're looking for a Holiday or Quality Inn experience, this isn't it. This Inn is unique. Cozy. Friendly. It has personality. Something the big box hotels don't have.
The owner checked me in with a friendly smile and my key. When I walked the short distance through a corridor to my room, the door was open and the lights were on to welcome me. The room had all the amenities you would expect along with that cabin feel.
If you prefer a more personal touch with that sort of old schoolcabin vibe, you should try this place.
On another note: I stayed here at least a couple of times while I was on the National Ski Patrol back in the late 60s early 70s. Loved it then loved it more this time.”
“This place has always been amazing this was our rental every time we would come to ruidoso... I'm actually in Ruidoso right now and end it out renting a hotel because I passed by the cabins and they were all destroyed. I've been very sad especially because of the order he is such a nice person we love you and if you need anything please let us know”

“Stayed 6 people in a nice 2-bedroom cabin. Quiet location with surrounding cabins all having festive night-lighting in the forest trees. Only difficult point was that the office was like half a mile away, and since I didn't make the reservation, I didn't know where to go to check in.Walkability: Nice mountain neighbourhood to walk around”

“Cheap home, bad neighbors, but it’s better than nothing and when I say cheap I mean cheap rent. The house stays warm with the wood burning stove in the winter. And a gas heater for when the power went out. I’m thankful to get to stay here! :)”

Bed was very comfortable.
Shower was excellent.
The outside is very nice and decorated. It's quiet. Best sleep I had in awhile.
Oh I tried calling to book a room the following week but was booked up. I will keep trying. Love staying here.”
