The Swiss Chalet Hotel offers an affordable and convenient stay, though the property is showing its age. The rooms are generally clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and good water pressure in the showers. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing a pleasant check-in and checkout experience. However, the hotel is in need of significant repairs and renovations. The common areas, such as the hallways and lobby, appear dated and run-down. Some parts of the hotel are even closed off, giving the impression that the property is in decline. The exterior of the building also requires attention, with boarded-up windows and a general sense of disrepair. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel's location on the edge of the forest provides a scenic and peaceful setting. Guests can enjoy the fresh forest air and the quiet surroundings. While the hotel may not be in its prime, it still offers a decent value for those seeking an affordable and comfortable overnight stay.
Under renovation and the exterior looks questionable but the room was clean and quiet. I'd come back.

The room and lobby are good. The building is in need of major repair. This hotel has definitely seen it's glory days gone by.

This was a thrill room. It was clean but the whole complex was a bit run down. Looks like they may have started a renovation which they need. Very dated.Rooms: Clean but datedNearby activities: Outside of town so there is no activity aroundWalkability: Town is about 1-2 miles so there is no place to walk toFood & drinks:... read full comment
