“This tiny store is a gem. Thousands of unique Zuni and native carvings and jewelry, a super knowledgeable staff who help you find things you love and can afford. This is an art museum, cultural education site, and fantastic place to buy AUTHENTIC native art that fits in your carry on! Highly recommended.”

“What an awesome morning we had with our pottery class! The 6 family members ranging in age from 13-49 with very limited knowledge about pottery spent the morning creating and discovering the process! We learned some basic techniques and then were put right on the wheel. Ali was with us the whole time encouraging our creative side. If you get a chance to experience a class or time at Paseo Pottery, do it!”

“The sculpture garden is magnificent!! Shady with truly wonderful sculpture. The ambience is most extraordinary. Go for the Tranquillity. And then buy a piece of art. You will treasure what ever you select. And you will never be disappointed!”

“The world is changing, the art of the artist, is largely overlooked, this is one of those rare places, that you can see, a true artist at work, learning the technique of glassblowing, they have pieces for sale that are quite unique, and if you enjoy and treasure something physical, this is a definite must place to visit, there are a couple of restaurants nearby, that you can research, that have great food, and with a little bit of luck you'll probably run across a movie star”

“Full disclosure my aunt Kathleen works here occasionally. I have been in many antique and consignment shops most of who specialize and after half an hour you are overwhelmed and bored , Stephen 's however has a diverse selection to say the least, a great variety and seems to be well priced. It is worth walking around and poking into all the nooks and crannies because I guarantee you will find many interesting surprises. Enjoy the discovery”

“This is a wonderful place to stop, appreciate and purchase. We purchased our wedding bands here with no intent of purchasing. My husband found what he wanted and there is a huge selection of all types of stones and artist.. So off we went very happily with 2 wedding bands. Beyond all the selection of jewelry, there is amazing artwork of every type imaginable. Do stop in and as you read in other reviews - friendly, kind and knowledgeable staff. I’m sorry I forgot the young man’s name that waited on us but also let us browse on our time. We certainly appreciated that too. It truly is a gallery to behold. Right next to Tia Sophia’s and stop there to eat breakfast(it’s delicious). These two place really do give Santa Fe a thumbs up!!Enjoy”

“Stunning gallery. One of the best in Santa Fe. The owner has a talent for attracting some of the best Native American Artists working today. Exquisite pottery, sculpture, paintings and more all displayed in an open gallery with lots of natural light. Located in the heart of the Rail Yard District. Don’t miss this gallery if your shopping for art in Santa Fe.”

“A must stop! We absolutely loved the Nambe Trading Post! We surprised Jennifer a little early on Sunday and had the shop mostly to ourselves. Perfect for admiring their beautiful work! The sweetest traditional trading post in a gorgeous little neighborhood just outside of Santa Fe.”

“Gracious and knowledgeable of artists. Extremely wonderful setting for a gallery, reflection of light in the area is something that is inspiring and reflects the art in her gallery.
Diffidently made this a short roadtrip of of Santa Fa or Taos”

“Today was the second first Wednesday of summer of the months June, July and August, when they closed the entire street to cars so that only pedestrians will walk!!
There was music of all kinds, food, a very nice atmosphere of young children and adults and there was a lot of joy and contentment in the atmosphere!!”

“I really do love visiting this gallery at its openings (been to a few now including tonight) or any time. Just different art than the other Santa Fe galleries. I would add that younger family members will enjoy this one more than some of ones that are more for say, older folks. More edge, variety, modern…. Just cool.”

“If you spend any amount of time shopping in Santa Fe, you know how delightful it is to stop into the Cielo Stores. In addition to the two shops on Guadalupe, three now exist on Canyon Road. One is very gifty--scented candles and the like. Another is a perfectly delightful children's shop. The third is Cielo Handcrafted. This one is totally different from the others because it features items from Latin America.

Cielo offers the finest quality merchandise in all its stores, and Cielo Handcrafted is no exception. If offers a few very informal, but high-quaity table linens in interesting colors that are neutral enough to blend or contrast with many place settings. I love the hand-made terra cotta pottery for plants. This pottery comes in many sizes and shapes, and some feature a funny face molded into the clay. My aloe plant is very happy in its new pot. If you love weavings, you will be thrilled with the selection at Cielo Handcrafted.

At the check out counter, you might notice small, round thin cookies under a cloche. Try one, then hope like anything that the boxes of larger ones are not sold out. They are delicious. The young woman who works in the shop makes them each morning before opening. I, for one, hope that she does not get tired of baking them.

If you love walking up Canyon Road like I do, wander up a little further than El Farol, and you will see Cielo Handcrafted.”

“Just a bit off of canyon Road is probably the best gallery in the whole lot. Make an effort to get back there and you'll see what I mean. Extremely friendly staff with great art being shown of which we bought a piece. Some incredible work on copper using acid to create patterns by a man from Texas.”

“We have had a great experience with Gaia. Both Adrian and Coleman were knowledgeable about the artist we were interested in and were helpful with information and the possibility of arranging a commission. The artists represented there create beautiful and interesting pieces. We highly recommend this gallery.”

“This high-end art gallery on the famed Canyon Road in Santa Fe has been a favorite of ours for years. They carry works from the Southwest artists that are truly masterpieces. We got a "behind -the -scenes" look at their extensive collection of Gene Kloss prints - one of the best anywhere, as we collect her works as well. A beautiful building housing beautiful works.”

“Art Handlers Ltd. is a moving company that specializes in packing and shipping artwork. Its clients include leading museums and art galleries, as well as individuals. When we moved from Chicago to Tucson, a Santa Fe photography gallery recommended Art Handlers as a shuttle service to safely move our artwork across country in a temperature-controlled truck. They did an excellent job at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended.”

“Manitou has always been our favorite Gallery in Santa Fe at the Plaza. We heard that it had new owners and were concerned that they would change it, not for the better. Well we were there today and it is better than ever! Great job in displaying the art and jewelry; which is more abundant than ever. So good to see Andrea still there, who has always been so helpful and knowledgeable!”

“bought the 42 inch Trancer about 20 years ago. It has been moved to two homes and still works like the day I bought it. People stop and stare at it as they go past the house. It enhances the other sculptures and art in the yard. I also use it to determine the wind strength and direction. Several of my friends and my wife are all great artists and they love it. After years of extreme heat, cold, and salt air and age the patina is not what it was when it was new, but that is to be expected. I wish there was a way to bring it back but have been unable to find anything that will remove the oxidation. Visit Mark's Studio every year when I visit SF. Several of my friends have also bought some of his art work and it is top of the line.”

“Unique theatre showing alternative and older films. They host events related to film. It's smaller and usually empty when I go. And sometimes film sell out. Some concessions are available. Plenty of parking.”

“One of the finest artists of our time and I am happy to see this gallery with so much of his art on display.
Art installations of all sizes and vibrant colors.
It's huge and definitely worth a visit.
They also have small pieces to take home!!”

“My daughter and I are not very knowledgeable about art, but loved visiting all the galleries and admiring the vast & incredible works of art in Santa Fe. We visited this gallery, and the woman working there was wonderful! We loved the vibrant pieces, especially the colored bronze sculptures, and she took the time to answer our questions and gave us a great overview of the artist and how they were made.”
