They set up an appointment today. I sat around at home all day waiting for their technician to arrive. The person on the phone told me to make sure that I didn't try to plug in the modem until after the technician was done. They didn't give me a 1-2 hour window like every other company and just gave me the entire day as a window. It is 10 PM and they are still not here yet. No phone call. No apology. It seems like they think the entire world revolves around them.

My father was a customer of Century Link. He passed away and it took over 5 months to get CL to disconnect the account. Phone operators refused to disconnect the account and referred me to local offices. local offices referred me to corporate. There is no email listed to email customer service on the CL website. There is a chatbot but that couldn't compute the disconnect service so, magically, CL kept billing month over month to a deceased person not using the internet (oh btw, by the claim 'they cant track if a user is using bandwidth'....) this place is a scam and the FCC needs to investigate. do better #centurylink

This is the third time in two years I have been without services for multiple days. Second time it's happened on a holiday. No one answers a phone. If you don't push the button for sales, you get disconnected, on multiple phone numbers.

On the phone for an hour. Transferred 6 times. They canceled my service early and said they couldn't do future cancelations. They weren't able to turn the service back on. Was charged for an extra month of wifi when the wifi wasn’t connected. Shocking levels of incompetence.

Terrible. The worst. Half the price of xfinity for a reason. You will never get good customer service on the phone. They will not fix infrastructure across the city. Avoid if possible.

Worst experience ever. I randomly lost internet connection one day and tried to get someone to help. After an hour of asking the same questions they said they would send a technician out and that if I wasnt there I would be billed $100. Long story short they didnt show up, I called again and got a lady who barely spoke english and she told me I needed to buy a new modem. Then after an hour, she told me shed send a technician in 5 days. Finally I called again and talked to another lady who it took 45 minutes just to get into their system. She said she would send a technician the following day. Again they never showed and they never told me they cancelled. Worse experience ever. I switched over to xfinity and had internet going that day

Century link internet has been off line for 24 hours and they are impossible to reach for repairs.Keep directing to website what a joke!

They aren’t great, but internet works most of the time. Speed of 10 mbps is what’s available in my area, but it doesn’t go past 5 mbps.

Today CL disconnected my internet. I never received a letter or email about anything.After spending an hour trying to reach someone the first time , the rep said that they had deleted my credit card number from my account.They also had the wrong email address and the wrong phone number associated with my account.I have spent 4 hours dealing with this so far. I have managed to pay on the phone and get my service restored, but I still cannot get into my account.I managed to finally pay my bill over the phone but was assessed late charges but I can't reach someone who can fix that or get me into my account.I've got a business account and am supposed to have priority service. If this is priotirty service i can't even imagine how bad regular servicce is

If I could give negative stars I would. They have the worst costumer service. I have been on hold for over an hour to talk to someone because they have continued to bill me after I cancelled my account. They are extremely rude and inefficient.

The service has been down more in the past 3 weeks than it's been functioning. Repeatedly the the alleged support team based in foreign countries tells me that there's nothing they can do and that local techs are working to fix it. Invariably there is some estimated time to fix it, and of course it's not done at that time. We were literally without internet the whole weekend and nearly all of last work week. They got it up late in the day on friday, it worked Saturday until 5ish and is down again. Tis is a multi-billion dollar company and they cannot provide their core service with any reasonable level of reliability. However frustrated you are with your other provider that you're looking at ISP reviews, do not switch to CenturyLink. Avoid at all costs. Unbelievably terrible. I'm convinced they want to shut down service in this area and are forcing people to leave because there's no way that you can be this terrible without it being on purpose.

Worst customer service. No live person to talk to. Set my appointment a week ago.. waited on technician all day, no show.. no phone call, no number to call just a virtual agent keeps repeating the same thing over and over. I am done with CenturyLink..

Worst service from any business I've ever dealt with. Garbage in, garbage out... and don't count on them delivering the speed they promised when they were so excited to sign you up and take your money! Thankfully, they don't have the monopoly in Albuquerque, where I have fast, reliable service, excellent customer service, and good prices from XFINITY. Avoid this service.Ike the plague if possible!
